Hello Trials Players! We're excited to have launched Trials Fusion this week on PC.
We here at RedLynx, Ubisoft Kiev and Ubisoft Shanghai have dedicated teams that will continue working on Trials Fusion and Trials Fusion PC for a long time. Our idea from the start has been, although it may not be clear from the game description or the in-game menus, is that we are committed to both all the time improving, expanding and growing Trials Fusion over time.
This means not just the six DLC content packs coming in the first year (which the Season Pass provides access for) but also a regular schedule of free feature updates that will add new features and expand the game. As an example, among these free features will be tournaments and a synchronous online multiplayer mode, but also other game expanding features which have not yet been revealed.
RedLynx's Creative Director Antti Ilvessuo has spoken at length with IGN about this process, including what shape our newly imagined online multiplayer mode will take and why it needs more time:

We will also continue to improve performance, very actively follow the game usage, address bugs and known issues, and expand and improve the quality of the game.
We will be monitoring the forums and providing help here as we can, but we would also like to inform you about the list of Known Issues and other information available in this thread:

Thank you for playing Trials Fusion. We just want to make clear that this is also marks a start of a new phase for our development team: We will continue to develop Trials Fusion, and a dedicated team is committed to supporting and developing the game further for a long time. We hope you will enjoy Trials Fusion for a long, long time.
[Update]: FMX Exploit
There is an issue where the Rider’s leg movements in FMX mode is creating additional forward momentum that was not part of the original game design, enabling time advantages on the Leader Boards when using FMX tricks on Trials tracks. This issue has been identified and is currently undergoing testing ahead of deployment. We are aware of the issues this has created on the Leader Boards and are investigating on best how to address the situation. Please be patient as we resolve the issue. Thanks for your patience.
Let's Ride!
Lmfao, no one buys the whole people didn't like/play enough of multiplayer, get your act together, and of course it's going to be a free update, if you had to pay for something the game should have come with then the respect for Redlynx/Ubi would be as nearly non-existent as it is today....just being honest.
Love the trials community though, just not the company behind it![]()
How long did it take to come up with that post? Sebbbi already did damage control last week, and without all the pr rubbish to go with it. Just tell us the decision was made to release an unfinished game instead of making tournaments and multiplayer sound like cool, extra, free, bonus features we should grateful to get at all with the money we've spent.
And I know this is all good news and I shouldnt be griefing again but it all just feels a bit *yawn* at this stage. But yeah lets ride! etc![]()
The way they are handling this game reminds me of what THQ did with MX vs ATV: Alive. Launch a game that isn't finished and then release extra parts piece by piece and try to update later with a piecemeal approach. That didn't really work out too well for them now did it? I'm sorry but when you knowingly released this game in the shape it was in you lost any bit of sympathy or patience anyone was going to have. Nobody is buying into the PR spin you are giving anymore. I spoke to a Ubisoft tech support person the other day and he said the PS4 season pass issue should have been a simple fix that was supposed to be over with last week but doesn't know why RL still hasn't taken care of it. He said even he's getting frustrated with the dev team because he has to keep telling them to get this fixed and it's like no one there is paying any attention to the problems.
What is done is done, the game was released too early, there is nothing that we can do about it now except be optimistic about the future or swear to never buy another RL/Ubisoft product.
I remain somewhat optimistic, mainly because I love the editor and want to see it grow, plus I still have some faith in RL because they said they are committed and it was not merely damage control, it was a promise.
Redlynx I know you have demands coming in left right and center right now (and rightly so), but I want a 'text/tutorial event'! Give me the power of text, we can do so much more if this was a possibility. Still no good method of disabling the B button either? Why?
Please prioritize these in regards to the editor.
