While black has some relevance, the color green itself is not relevant to the answer or even the next step in this puzzle. It was an arbitrary color choice to show importance, and I thought green was a more positive color than, say, scary red. So don't worry about that.

As far as I can tell, Duggle has compiled all the currently relevant info. It's just what you do with it and where that info leads you.
I tell you Dan, I've spent way too much time trying to formulate a theory with all these hints. Hours of searches, wikis and lyric scans and I'm clueless.

I very much enjoy your contribution to our weekly DLC speculation. This thread EXPLODED in 1 day!

Wait. If a Stone rolls in grass, it will become green.

Not the Stones. It's not even The Outlaws with their green grass and high tides.

I see where you got that, but no.

I'm heading home for the night, and since several people have said they're stumped, here is a new lead:

I cannot color that image green but it is a relevant clue.

    Perhaps Biffy Clyro.

Black: They have an album named Blackened Sky, as well as a song titled Black Chandelier. (not to mention their album Puzzle - fitting for this cryptic thread). With the interpretation of darkness - they also have a song titled Victory over the Sun. The album for those two songs (and the one below) is Opposites - the white text and black background are opposites.

Blowfish: Another recent song, Stingin' Belle. (blowfish can sting, right?)

Rocksmith: They have toured with/supported many RS bands, including Foo Fighters, Muse, The Who, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Rolling Stones, and Queens of the Stone Age.

    My train(s) of thought.

Rats, I had some good clues for the Smiths

Portrait of Johannes Tritheim (1462-1516) (charcoal, sanguine, pen & ink and wash on paper); by German School
