Perhaps Biffy Clyro.
Black: They have an album named Blackened Sky, as well as a song titled Black Chandelier. (not to mention their album Puzzle - fitting for this cryptic thread). With the interpretation of darkness - they also have a song titled Victory over the Sun. The album for those two songs (and the one below) is Opposites - the white text and black background are opposites.
Blowfish: Another recent song, Stingin' Belle. (blowfish can sting, right?)
Rocksmith: They have toured with/supported many RS bands, including Foo Fighters, Muse, The Who, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Rolling Stones, and Queens of the Stone Age.
My train(s) of thought.
Rats, I had some good clues for the Smiths
