Deleting BETA deletes main game too??
Had the BETA on my PC, downloaded the full released game earlier on Uplay (5+GB). Played it for a while then backed out and decided to delete the BETA as it's no longer needed. Deleting that deleted the main game too, why?. If they were the same game, why did I have to download a full on 5+GB earlier for the full release?.... So now I gotta download the 5+GB all over again via Uplays weak sauce speeds. Nice.
I'm also getting odd slowdown I never had in the BETA too, disappointing.
I also didn't realise we would get the exact same levels in the full game that were in the BETA, so in essence, doing everything I did in BETA, golds...challenges etc, all over again for the most part. I kinda thought the BETA stuff was just created for that alone...the BETA.

yeah, im stuck downloading the whole thing again too. tbh im really surprised they didnt just omit the code for the tracks not included in beta to decrease the filesize, and ensure that the game wasnt cracked, but thats just me. blows that the whole thing gets deleted when u delete beta tho, that shouldnt be happening
i think you are missing the point of a beta tho. betas are designed for the developers to source testing from its player base at the very end of development to catch any bugs that may have filtered thru. we have the opportunity to provide feedback on what we like, what we dislike, and what is broken. the beta is not a free early access to the game prior to launch. but, if you don't adhere to that school of thought, they announced there was going to be a full wipe of leaderboards and progress, so you shouldnt be surprised about not having challenges completed. plus they are easy. have fun!

While downloading the full game (currently at 16%
) i deleted the Beta in the background. I hope it wont interfere. But at the moment nothing is installed, its just the installers im downloading right now. A lot of people also dont know, that you can pause the download at 98% (or any number close to the completed download) and copy the installers. You can find out about the location in the uplay settings under "Downloads" (Usually C:/Program Files(x86)/Ubisoft Game Launcher/cache/installers/). That's what i do with uplay games since there is no feature to save games in compressed files as steam has. That way, the next time you have to download the game, start the download, replace the new created installers with the "98%" and resume the download. Now you only have to download the 2% that are left. Btw, i wouldnt wait until the download has reached 100%, because uplay deletes the installers automatically as soon as the installation is complete. Since i need 2 hours for ~1 GB (12 hours for Fusion) its a practial way for me.
