I hope every run that uses FMX gets deleted, because anybody who abuses it is a scrub.

Unfortunately there are runs where people do it for flair, or even on accident; but removing all runs with FMX, then removing FMX ability in Trials mode is the safest option.

only one of my times use tricks base invader i might be a "scrub" but im a scrub thats had a #1 run on the same track every day since relese but yh me and some others are the only cheats with right thumbs so .....everyone just get over it till they patch

The players who abused it are the ones who brought it to RedLynx's attention in the first place. Should be thanking them for discovering it early and not later.

I'm in favor of a leaderboard wipe of all beginner/easy/medium tracks.

The coffin trick hasn't been exploited to a high enough degree in hard/extreme tracks to warrant a reset of those difficulties.

it would be unfortunate to any one that just did some tricks for fun but it cant be that hard to write a program that will remove any run that used the right stick

its either deleting all or nothing, im pretty sure its gonna be nothing.

Wiping the leaderboard seems like the easiest option for RedLynx. (Unless they can somehow create a system to delete replays with the right stick input)

All of the top times are still in their infancy stage and, from a business standpoint, the only players who would be slightly upset have already bought the game anyway.

I understand your frustration, it irritates me to spend hours getting a WR just to have it taken by someone using FMX tricks. But at the same time, I'm glad it was found out now and not months down the road when our times are significantly better than they are now.

I don't see this as a problem. As with any new game in a series people are resistant to change and refusing to adapt. It is just disappointing that many top players are refusing to adapt and some even refusing to play FMX tracks at all.

Also FMX tricks aren't going to be removed from normal tracks. There are challenges tied to some tracks that require FMX tricks.

Normally I would agree with you, but since RedLynx has officially confirmed this as an exploit, I have to shift sides.

I do, in my opinion, feel that it destroys the core of what Trials is supposed to be. Reminds me of how players achieve faster lap times by bouncing off walls in PGR.

so there's really no point in playing now is there? until they do something about it. i'm not going to bust my *** if they're just going to wipe leaderboards. great :/

I don't see why people could be that upset about it. You will beat every run you have right now if you put the time and effort into it.

I love when people use the term "adapt" as a synonym for 'get used to the downgrade'. Luckily, Redlynx sees that this is an exploit, and it needs to be taken care of.
