Flipping and hopping is part of trials, the coffin boost is not intended neither part of core Trials.

There's a difference between exploiting a known bug with the right stick, and doing flips with the actual left stick, it's not like those runs coffin by accident or to look better, it's not even a full FMX trick.

I am not gonna argue who should or should not use FMX tricks, I still think it's dumb to use a known exploit, and if people feel better by it, so be it.

I just take the devs word that it's not intended to give a boost and leaderboards will be dealt with at some point.

Trials is trials and should not require a trick to get a boost, this isn't mario kart wii.

To me Trials is just throttle / brake / lean, nothing else.

I personally think it is cool that you can make use of the tricks to further your score. So many people are getting way out of hand when they can just do the coffin runs themselves..

This is what I was thinking when I first saw the videos, but when I tried it myself, it just felt dirty. The problem is that it's an unnatural "push" that boosts you forward, it's not a result of the way you shift your weight. The comparison to Mario Kart is pretty accurate, it's like a much weaker version of the boost you get coming out of a drift in MK. There's nothing else in Trials to compare it to.

as for the tricks it is possible to get good runs on tracks without using tricks
if there is a way to disable tricks i think they should
i have been playing trials since day 1 of trials hd on the 360 and loved it ever since i also loved evo
and fusion is growing on me the new bikes etc are something different to learn and (try to) master
each new trials game is going to be different and they are going to add new stuff to try and get new players playing the game etc
if they dont fix stuff so they will lose players you see it every day onm the forums
if redlynx are listening and reading please let us know what fixes you are looking at also please tell us what will happen with the leaderboards
if its a clean wipe that will be tough for some to take but when its fixed im sure the real trials fans will get on with it

I love all trials games and love the community too so please for the fans let us know

Unfortunately, yes... I wish they had released a full Trials experience on mobile devices for like 10-15 bucks. I'd have spent this without a doubt. But I suppose the game wouldn't be even near a success like it is now with the F2P model. I can't hold it against RL.
