    Garage

Ok so if you scroll over to the rabbit and use the right stick to look a little further to the right you can notice there are 4 empty "pedestals"

now we can assume 1 of those belong to the donkey....

but there's still another 3 pedestals left for a total of 10 bikes!!!!!

    10 bikes!?! WTF.

slightly off topic but why (for instance) in the FMX skill games are we given a choice of what bike to ride?! Also in the cactus challenge why give us the bike select option if we can only use one specific vehicle?

i love you redlynx and am willing to work for you as a game tester because someone there dropped the ball when it comes to functionality.

also in frost bite the physics bubble should have been expanded because the platform that falls after the 2nd checkpoint will just hang out in mid air if you restart to checkpoint..wouldnt expect these types of mistakes in Redlynx created levels!

msg me when i can start. I live in canada but am willing to relocate.

I'm up for ten bikes! also I have to say I like how this time round they did away with the bike inferiority system, where the bikes get progressively better and better until you end up just using the Scorpion (Best bike evaaar) and phoenix [and donkey]. Having it so bikes get progressively more specialised is much better in my opinion.

I don't like the idea for more bikes so hope this is wrong, the only thing I want is for all the dlc's to be the same quality as what riders of doom and origin of pain were, and more track variety not some new bikes.

    I have insider info:

The bikes pedestals are for the 3 respective vehicles.

    1. The Donkey (for those old school Trials fans)

    2. The Hoverboard (welcome to the fucha)

    3. The Helicopter (now everybody can be a ninja!)

I hate the idea of so many bikes. Evo did it with their dlc, and I feel like adding so many bikes for tracks ruins the level design. I like what they did in fusion with essentially three bikes. It makes level design decisions much more deliberate, and easy to grasp. If you have 7 different bikes that can ride a course, only one or two of them are going to be any good on it, or any fun to ride. Making tracks acceptable and fun of too many bikes can be total overkill, and make designing a perfect line impossible. The best bike will most likely suffer due to accommodations for the crap bikes, or vice versa. A couple bikes for a track is good and accessible, but a ton is just too much. I felt like I had no clue what bike the tracks in evo's dlc were designed for optimally, the tougher tracks were a mix between the banshee and the Phoenix. Maybe that was the idea, so people could ride what they want, not what they feel they need to. But I just felt like the quality of the ride suffered as a result.

I like the three bike setup, plus the wild card of the rabbit.

I see your point. I guess they could put on restrictions to reduce the confusion and preserve ride quality, but then that defeats the idea of bike variety anyways.

In the end I guess it comes down to design choice. Do they want to sell the game with a bunch of bikes, or with hardcore driveline? Seems they've opted more for the flashy toys.
