They are on the proccess of making a patch to address the performance issues of the PC version. Personally, though, I am not putting much faith in Ubisoft.

Well I'm sitting here with a £2000+ gaming PC, which can run EVERY game I have at ultra settings and get comfortable results (except for maybe Crysis 3 and Metro Last Light, but that's because I haven't found a compromise on their settings yet)

Not sure if this is the right place to put my complaint of the game.

But basically sitting here with an i7 3770k, 16GB of DDR3 1600 CL8 RAM, a 780 Ti and 660 and the best I can play this game @ 1080p and get steady, 60 fps + is high, msaa x2 and high settings.

    what a joke.

    Benchmarks:
    GTX460m 1370
    GTX560m 1549
    GTX460 2664
    GTX560 3098
    GTX660 (The $189 desktop wonderGPU) 4119

A $600 Core i3/8GB/GTX660 desktop PC will be three times as capable as your $1500 laptop at this point in time.

That said, I replaced the G53JW with an $800 MiniITX Hackintosh/Windows 7 machine based around the Gigabyte Z87n-wifi, a Core i5 4440, 8GB in a single stick, and the aforementioned GTX660.
Plays Watch_Dogs on Medium (with Motion Blur turned off because, for me, it's more like Motion Sick...) like a dream (and dual boots into OSX Mavericks for Bandcamp and the like without a hitch).

Meanwhile, the GF unit has stuttering issues with her AMD 965 Black (which benchmarks about the same as my i5) + GTX550 + 16GB RAM.
Yeah, I know my laptop is starting to hit its limits, but still, should easily be able to run this game. I already have desktop plans for hopefully the near future that will have 2 graphics cards. If that thing can't run it, then I don't want to live anymore lol

Bonemasher.. If you're going to buy a desktop either get that i7 4790K 4GHz chip or go with socket 2011

I suppose I ought to put my complete specs up:

    i7 3770k @ stock speed - 3.5 GHz
    Corsair Hydro H100i
    Asus P8Z77-V Premium
    16GB Corsair Jet Black DDR3 1600 CL8 @ 7-8-8-24 2T (runs through MEMTEST fine)
Gigabyte GTX 780 Ti Windforce OC
EVGA GTX 660 FTW ACX (for physx - only Metro Last Light seems to benefit from it and not by much lulz)
    256GB Samsung 840 EVO - boot drive
    2 x 3TB Seagate Barracuda - RAID-1 - games
    1 x 1TB Seagate Barracuda - storage
    1 x 32GB LiteOn mSata SSD - RAID acceleration
    1 x DVD-RW drive
    1 x Blueray drive
PSU - Seasonic Platinum 1000w (had 2 slightly older cards using a lot of juice, it's there for if I want to SLi again)
    Case - HAF 932

    Cooling
    Hydro = 4 x 120mm Akasa Piranha fans
    Case: front = 200/230mm Bitfenix Spectre Pro / side = 4 x 120mm Akasa Vipers / rear = 1 x 140mm Akasa Viper

Monitor = BenQ XL2411T Gaming monitor (120/144 hz set to 120 hz)

Peripherals = CM Storm TRIGGER brown keyboard, CM Storm Recon mouse

Best level I can play Watch Dogs at and get a stable 60 fps + = high textures, MSAA x 2 and high settings for everything else.

MSAA x 4 starts to tank my 780 Ti... MSAA x 8 = drops to 4 fps and crashes

All drivers = up to date etc

With the game set to high etc the frame rate latency issues I'm suffering from don't seem to bother the game so bad... Just wish I knew when Ubisoft and Nvidia are going to come out with something better
