I'd have to say I'm rather frustrated right now since uPlay tells me I've played the game for 55 minutes and I've already gotten through all of the tracks in the Hard section. The game seems very short by RedLynx standards. It looks like Ubisoft told you to force the game out the door regardless of whether it was ready or not.
At this point there's zero chance I'd buy another Trials title.
No Trials games are long. It's the replay value, leaderboard ranking, and rivalries that make players keep coming back. If you're just in it to play every level once you'll not get more than a few hours out of it.Originally Posted by hammr25 Go to original post
What concerns me is that RL decided to host a beta for Fusion 2 weeks before its stated release, only TWO weeks. They wanted to give certain people a sneak preview, thats fine i understand that. Hell, i kept my mouth shut when they tried to "advertise" the game through PewDiePie. But the real purpose of a beta is to test for bugs/glitches. The same thing happened on Evolution- those bugs were more transparent though, ill give them that. But there were absolutely no excuses for Gold Edition and now Fusion.
Redlynx, do you know how many people here on the forum would be willing to work for you...FOR FREE?! The diverse community here with the best speedrunners/best builders are your golden ticket to a flawless game. If you want beta testers to push the parameters of the game as far as possible, you wouldnt have to look beyond the forum. I just dont get why RL is getting in the habit of patching things when they could have been prevented in the first place.
I wouldnt be saying all this if i wasnt so passionate about trials in general.
They just don't want to put in the effort for making a great game. They would leave it buggy/unfinished and release it so they can get that cash money. Don't know how many of you have been in the editor, but damn is it going to be hard to be creative in that ****. Almost every single object in there is either white or grey with a terrible cartoon style design to it.Originally Posted by Retribution Go to original post
+1. Lol at last edit by Opiate360. This might just be the last Trials game I'll play especially if they add tournaments as "extra content."Originally Posted by Retribution Go to original post
Things that they did poorly in Fusion:
1) Ridiculous Edges/Roughness
2) Terrible tire snags/glitches
3) Even worse bikes and a quad that can't land anywhere smoothly
4) FMX
5) Very long tracks
6) Terrible extreme tracks that aren't even fun (excluding the first)
7) FMX
8) Skill games that already exist, but they made neverending trials so choppy and terrible
9) No MP out of the box
10) FMX
11) Glitched leaderboards ALREADY?!
12) Still undecided about how they're going to handle FMX
13) FMX
14) Horrible sun glare on many tracks
15) Completely renaming bikes
16) Uplay account won't link on xb1 or 360 (for me, anyway)
17) Very limited rider gear/terrible color customization
18) FMX
19) Calling this "the future"
20) Moving the forums
Things they did well:
1) Awaiting DLC which will probably be tournaments, so I'll move that to the previous list.

Well in comparison to Evo, Fusion has way less tracks too.Originally Posted by hammr25 Go to original post
I think when DLC comes out that will be 'fixed' but I think there should have been more tracks from the start.
Also - why does every event have a FMX track? Would have rather had normal Trials instead of that many FMX ones...
Is that just me??
Fusion has also frozen my console twice already, i'm not sure if there's a problem with my xbox or what - but it kinda sucks lol.
It only happens when I'm playing Trials games though, all other games work just fine.
Same for me, doesn't happen with other games except Fusion. Unfortunately x360 has a history of HW issues, RRoD etc., so sometimes developers tend to take the route of just blaming the console.Originally Posted by Claudia Go to original post
