This is the same issue I am having. I attempt to link my Xbox account, get redirected to the Microsoft log-in page, which after logging in redirects me back to my account page however the account still says that there's no link. Non-uPlay accounts on my Xbox 360 can play it without a problem, which is even more annoying.

Very frustrating, I submitted a Support ticket yesterday and I'm hoping for some kind of solution.

Workaround if you are trying to play and you have not been able to connect to uPlay on the 360:

Get an older 360 Ubisoft game. I used Far Cry 3.
Connect in the menu to uPlay.
Go to the profile and enter in an email address and password - NOTE this can't be an email that's already linked to a uPlay account already.
    Go to http://uplay.ubi.com/
Log in with the email/password you just registered in that game
Update date of birth, accept terms of service
    Load Trials Fusion

Now it should connect to the uPlay servers with your Gamertag

Please also remember - if you have this issue - to raise it directly with the Ubisoft Support - since they may need to check your account settings etc.

I don't have one & I sure as hell am not buying one just for the use of it on trials. Heres a workaround: fix the ****ing system UBISOFT!!!
