Cheers mate. I kind of wished I took more care before release. I was testing in share made and got a bit trigger happy and prematurely released it (there's a joke in there somewhere). I would have liked to have adjusted/changed the last few obstacles, polish up some of the lazier parts of the deco and re-enabled some effects that were supposed to be on...amongst other things. Promised some riders a donkey tuned version so I may do some of those things for that version when I can be bothered.Originally Posted by Blackbird56695 Go to original post
Cheers mate, I hear you on the Pit Viper. I would cry tears of joy if a bike that handled approximately like the Evo Phoenix were to be added to Fusion. I also would like some decent camera filters and a LARGE selection of pieces that are not shiny.Originally Posted by murderbysound Go to original post
Dahaka... Got trigger happy and pre-maturely released..? You couldn't have found any other way to word that? My goodness.
This thread has gone dormit. Almost in a coma-like state.
I'm with everyone else though. Time to take a forum vacation. I'm working on a not so impressive track right now for Fusion. It's about 95% done, just touching up on some "BarryBarFly" (lighting) and then I'll release it. It's a yawner but a track none the less.
Anyways, feeling a Trials depression as of late so I hope the DLC rejuvenates my passion to play, build, and be more active in the community.
So on that note... I'll Vladiii my way out of here.
*cue the fog 3 effect* Need that **** to be extra thick.
I gave Atom smasher and Cryotherepy a run. Great work on both tracks D2, especially Atom Smasher (my favorite of the two). Those irises near the end are crazy good man.
I have been playing around with an iris in the editor for awhile now & can never get it to work..
I still thought Cryo was good fun, Deco and DL was great.... Its been a while since I have been back on Evo, damn the phoenix looks skinny compared to the Viper.Originally Posted by D2Dahaka Go to original post
Will be going back to play some more and improve my runs...
p.s. unless you count the rider in your track. the LHC smashes subatomic particles, not atoms.
It will rejuvinate your passion for a short period unless of course it comes with several hundred new editor pieces (AND SOME MORE CAMERA FILTERS PLEASE). Rustlands looks very nice, but doubt there's enough in there to keep us going for long. Challenges are a nice addition, but they're a throw-away one and offer no reason to do more than once. On top of that, some of the challenges are a waste of space - rotating screens? No Thanks! Teams will be a nice addition, but not sure how much it will add to the game for most of us here. To be 100% honest, by the time we get enough dlc and content updates to make the game feel "whole" my feeling is it's going to be too little too late for the "old timers" and looks like a lot if them hit that point long ago. My opinion only of course.Originally Posted by purpleoozi Go to original post
I'll still be hanging around in the hope that Im grossly wrong, that and the fact that I still get enjoyment occassionally firing it up to see what customs are out there and playing the odd tournament. May as well seeing as I bought 4 versions of the game along with 4 season passes. I did that based on how much I loved Evo and the whole ethos of the team behind it.
You're going to start a competition that mobilises 60+ builders, promise a butt-load of prizes and then disappear without a trace? Unfortunately (for you) you wont have the same impact as you haven't spent the last several years making kick *** videos nor have you hosted at least one successful building comp and gained the community's trust. That's an exit that will never be matched in the history of Trials!Originally Posted by purpleoozi Go to original post
Glad you liked Atom Smasher. Admitedly the extreme version was a very lazy release. I simply heightened some of the jumps and adjusted some or the ramps. It works, but isn't as "tuned" as the original. I typically don't do the re-release thing, but have no qualms doing that on Evo now. It ended up #1 in the 48hr feed and #1 in highest rated this week with 1000+ downloads and a bunch of XBL messages...can't ask for more than thatOriginally Posted by Blackbird56695 Go to original postThe hard version is my personal favourite of my builds followed by 2036.
Keep messing with the Iris. Often the problem is the way the axis' are aligned due to the way something is glued and sometimes all it takes is to change it's original orientation or just a quick hack like inverting one of the outputs.
Yup that Phoenix sure looks slim next to the Viper. Also feels smooth as silk in comparison.
P. S The theme of Atom Smasher is VERY loosely based on the LHC (not to mention reality) and it typically doesn't fire riders lol
