Totally agree with LzZzR ( which is the awkwardest name to type hahah )
Visuals are nothing short of amazing , driveline is tricky , especially if you fault at certain points but this only makes for a challenging line and repeat play. I always have trouble finding that shiney steal look , maybe its something in the enviroments settings that gives the light and makes things seem more steal like. ( hands are open for any tip hahaha )
well done bud , going to give it more of my time today and see what time i can get. Only one more thought on this amazing track
Make more , many many more![]()
Appreciate, that you liked it. It's a bit of a relief to get generally positive feedback to be honest as I haven't built anything in a long time.Originally Posted by LzZzR Go to original post
Thanks for the comments Funk. To answer your question from the top of my head about the shiny metal look - Humidity maxed, ambient colour almost - but not quite - black and bump the camera exposure up a tad. I remember asking kid m p c the same question ages ago and I roughly applied what I could remember him telling me to get the metalic shiny look. I can send you my settings if you like so you can have a play.Originally Posted by funktastic- Go to original post
sounds like a plan , that would be fantastic bud , I have alittle idea of what to tweak but can never seem to find that look thats in your atom smasher.
cheers bud no rush tho , just when you get round to it , still have my head in this fps and its dominating all my building time at the moment.
cheers bud![]()
Off Topic -
I'm hoping by posting my picture here for people to rip into and make fun of the way I look (because either way I don't care), that it will maybe, JUST MAYBE, convince you to let me post that picture of you here. I WANT TO POST IT SOOOOOO BADLY - The world needs to see that Dahaka. They need to see what an actual track making mega buff beast looks like behind that GamerTag of yours.
Sorry for derailing the thread. Cant wait to play your track on Xbox One (assuming it gets ported... but Im pretty sure we all know it will).
I love you buddy - Can't wait for the next 3 AM drunken party chat with you and Spinal Fluid. Hands down the best party chat I've had (lately) with brothers from another mother player
PS I'll never say brothers from another mother player ever again.
You crack me up Oozi. It's not the hugest deal you made that post. The reason I dont want that photo posted is because it's about 3-4 years old and I don't want to look like some sad old guy pretending he's still buff and young and on top of that a sad poser. Ok maybe I'm not that old, but you know what I mean.
Catch you on live some time soon xxxooo
Noticed my track was the least well received in track drop #65 on both PS4 and XBone. I suspect a misleasing difficulty and an unforgiving plat time didn't help. If anyone would like to share what they didn't like about it, feel free to post here. I did rush it out without testing and am probably a bit rusty given how long it was since I built a track last![]()
The last checkpoint is very unforgiving and is a considerable difficult spike for many players expecting a hard track. Considering the last checkpoint is still fresh in their memory after finishing the track with what would have been a perfectly clear run. That might have been what made some players choose the dislike button.
For my personal opinion: It was my favorite track of that weeks picks.
hi buddy
I found the jump in the middle , around your aamzing backdrop of the world and see through glass to be alittle tricky but i put tis down to my own skill level and too much building time. At te moment it seems to me , not many skilled players are playin trials at the moment and te actual skill level of technical tracks is being down graded simply because they dont know how to ride them. Now i try and also incorporate another line so to speak , ( little helpers incase its too difficult ) i personally think it takes the callenge of a track away alittle but it can add alot more cance for unskilled players to complete a difficult track but with a slow time.
I tought your track was amazing bud.
Also just read oozi post , im the same bud , i have bad grey hair and still dye it with and dress much youner than i probably should. My kids take the mick out of me for spending hours doing my hair if im to go out. If you got the stuff you got the stuff![]()
The spike in difficulty from Hard to Extreme on a couple of occasions. I approached it as an Hard speedrun track at first and for a short while was frustrated with it. Tried again later treating it as Extreme, and nailed it properly.
Could not fault the atmosphere and theme of the track.
PS. oOzi needs a shave, and possibly a hair cut....Or maybe a brush or comb.
