There is no snap-to-grid function that I can find. It always snaps to the driving line, even if I add a grid from the editor settings.
* Directional Force is broken. It only accepts positive values & converts negative values into positive. The only way to get a negative force is to link a VDS to 'Inverted' adding un-needed code.
Example: place an object and set it's gravity to 0. Glue a Directional Force to it and aim it upwards. Set the Force value to a negative number and it will still go up instead of down.
Cannot link a Joint to the riders' hands or feet. This makes accurately adding skis, objects boots or gloves, or weapons impossible. ** Can anyone achieve this? It just passes through to the bike instead.
As for the clothing request, I do not have the full version so I'll need someone to confirm this for me. When you choose the riders' outfit, does it allow you to pick for instance the helmet from Future and pants from Outlander? Or does it force you to one clothing style?
*** I don't know what this problem is with the countdown timer in the editor. Was is made worse in the full version from the demo? It only counts down once for me, then B just resets to the starting CP :/
I haven't a scooby doo what you just said but I was playing a track last night that had some secret bit where it turned your rider into some weird tin man with a fusion ball head. All of the objects seemed to be linked to various limbs as it looked fairly convincing. This is probably a question for the devs.Originally Posted by JolanXBL Go to original post
The physics joints should definitely work with hands and feet like before, there seems to be something wrong with them now. I'll see that this issue gets checked as well as the checkpoints and directional force.
Snap to grid works as before, make sure you check the snap axes as well, otherwise it'll just snap and align the object to the driving line.
I didn't get the thing about OPEs, but I haven't noticed anything wrong with them.
The delays in tutorials can't be removed based on the announcer setting, but that's only few seconds and I can't imagine a reason why the tutorials should be played more than once anyway (or is there?)
Thanks for bringing up these issues, it's hard to find anything in this mess but a constructive feedback thread was a nice find.

Alot of us feel the same way you feel.
All we wanted was exactly that.
An ok guys we're here to see what can be done. Its a total mess for some guys here also.
You just made me feel much better knowing that issues are being looked at.
As for the ope issue: Point A to Point B using Vectors doesn't always give the same outcome.
I use 2 dummy's /1 vector curve datasource/ 2 vector object info.
Ope is set to local coords, yet once i press the back button it either works right or goes underground. I just tried it again & it still does the same. Thank you very much for letting me know there's still hope in this game!![]()
Hmm.. But if you're using local coordinates from vector object info that means the object will try to travel X,Y,Z meters from its initial position to the direction it's pointing at. I'm guessing the problem could be that you're trying to push the object beyond world limits and its direction changes randomly because the engine tries to keep it in the world. Try global coordinates instead.
By the way, in the new editor you can manually move and OPE things under terrain and break glue groups too, among many other small features. Hopefully some kind of introduction to these could be made soon.
Nice idea Wraath.
Here's a couple of issues to add to the update list:
- Mini-LBs not displaying your score. These LBs, displayed when you're scrolling through the track list or on completion of a track, seem to display an LB of your friends list sorted from the top. Consequently, if you're not in the top 5 on your friends list it will not show your score on the track and you'll have to press Y to access the main LB.
- Split times only displaying for ghosts. If you have friends selected for ghosts, you'll get the splits for the fastest person on your Friends List. Only way to get your split times is to select PB for ghost. Not sure if this was intentional or not though.
I'd rather devs made offensive statements such as this rather than shy away from their raging communities.Originally Posted by mutetus Go to original post
Stay tuned for some constructive feedback from yours truly. Done the career and now it's time to put much more time with the editor, which most of my feedback henceforth will focus on.
- Newest extreme track feed in TC. - I may be overlooking something, but how can I search for new extreme tracks at the moment? (Searching Trials and Extreme does't return with the newest tracks first, or oldest)
- I think I read that PS users were unable to send a bulk message to their friends when releasing tracks, how about an option to send out an in-game notification (for all platforms, of course) - The notifications would have their own category so they don't get buried.- (Saying that because I think I remember there being a TC category already, not on now to check)
- the ability to add more than one search function in the create a feeds. This would give us the ability to essentially subscribe to all our favourite builders.
- The ability to search by track tags. Create feeds for ninjas, hard technical tracks, scenic easy tracks, tracks with mechanisms etc..
- I think it is agreed by everyone that there should be an option to look through the tracks you have already downloaded.
Side note: Track central is not as big of a mess than I first thought. Like/dislike is much better than the star system. New trials being split by difficulty gives every track a longer, fairer chance in the feeds. I still think in the first months there is still need for something between new and week though. Monthly track challenge, increased competition on user tracks, excellent news.
With an update to TC, and when tournaments and multiplayer are added there is no reason why this game cannot be as loved as Evo and HD. I am sure that around 50% of people who complain about tyre glitches aren't sure exactly what they are.
