When doing tricks I see the rider try to position himself but what happens is that its kinda a ragdoll beeing wrapped around the bike, and it just seems it doesnt work as its supposed to? The landings are terrible and whats With the frontwheel. Is the brakes Applied when landing??? To Close between different tricks on joystick(tried to put in too many tricks on 1 stick I Guess) makes it pretty random and just feels wrong.
Where can I find what motions on joystick makes which tricks? And is there coming a fix so the rider does the trick every time and not every other time?
Really much more clinical and less personal game than the previous 2. Dont see the same replayvalue compared to Evo.
Going back to the OP. Is there an online manual for Fusion that explains the directions for FMX tricks? for us that didn't purchase a hard copy.Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai Go to original post
Even the training doesn't tell you what direction does what. Just sticks you in a wind tunnel and asks you to experiment.
I get the positioning part of it and I've worked out holding left does a superman. Down does a proud hero. Anything else is just random and doesn't work half the time.
Basically....I'm having a right old rotter of a time trying to get this 20,000 in one trick achievement.![]()
Getting to know my way around the game now and here a good tip if you didnt know.
Go to "Trick Master" and just use joysticks. First is always Superman, but changes randomly, and every trick is displayed bottom right. Use this image to first get bike leveled correct(horisontal/vertical etc.), and then move rider.
So when you have the bike in same position as image displayed bottom right, then move the rider as image says, keeping the bike in that same position. Make sure you write positions on a paper, and in 2 weeks I Guess most of the tricks are nailed in![]()
I don't get why it's implemented it the way it is. You wanna do a superman so you push the right stick to the left. He does a superman. This is only providing the bike is in the normal riding position. The moment you change the orientation of the bike, the trick that happens when you push left on the trick stick changes. Why the heck wasn't it done so that specific tricks happen when the stick is pushed in a specific direction? It would have made it much easier and much more accessible. The way it is though, you're lucky if actually get the trick that you want.
The directions don't matter unfortunately. You can push the stick left for a superman but then if the bike changes position/orientation, pushing left on the stick will do something completely different.Originally Posted by geordiedeviant Go to original post
Well that's damn confusing. More effort needed on my part to understand it I imagine.Originally Posted by svig Go to original post
OK, well, look at it this way. If the bike is in the air in the normal riding position, when you push left on the trick stick, you will do a superman. If however the bike is pointing vertically or spinning doing a front flip or back flip, you'll get a completely different trick when you push left on the trick stick and not a superman.
Basically, it's nigh on impossible to know what trick you're going to get if the bike is spinning/flipping for example. In short, it doesn't matter which way you push the trick stick because none of the tricks have their own specific movement/direction on the trick stick.
