canary is goldfinch from the days of forums past.

Borderline trolling, which feels fairly harsh to say. I consider myself a really nice person, but I'll have to request a ban if the nonsense continues.

don't know if someone has mentioned this or not, but it occurred to me that some secret/egg stuff could possibly be found in frontier? seems with all the back and forth integration that maybe there are some things hidden in there. just thinking out loud.

I don't know how many of these are true easter eggs, but here are somethings that cross over.

    There are spoilers in this.

There are many times in which the characters talk about how great the civilization of the past must have been with all the structures everywhere.

The characters are trying to build a beacon to track Butch, the main enemy. There are points in the game when there is interference. One time one of the characters asks "I wonder if this has anything to do with the crater?" Shortly after that you play a level called Ghost Town where you unleash ghosts on the world that you then have to race. They are skeletal, but have one bionic arm like the tier 1 suit for the Bionic suit. They talk about something bringing the world great power and energy. They talk about how they thought they had harnessed it, but in the day before they died, the energy source turned against them.

While building the Phantom bike for the Prospector, he starts making odd noises. It starts out with something along the lines of "Go get me *CCCHTZZTZ* some gold metals partner". As you complete more of his challenges, the interruptions in his speed get more pronounced like "*CCTHTZZ* need *TTZZCHTZ* gold *CTTZTZH* go". This culminates when he says something along the lines of "*CCCTTZTZ* please help me, human *CCTZZTCH*". After that mission, he returns to normal and goes back to talking about how he needs silver and gold metals to build a statue for his cat, Bella (this is the premise of most of his missions for building both the Phantom and the Bronco).

Also, the world map for Trials Frontier is West Antarctica. The Antarctic Peninsula almost matches to long arm in the Northern part of the Trials Frontier map exactly and the mountain ranges are also in the same place. The shoreline is roughly the same as well.

This time around the "riddle" seems entirely story based.

Story elements in the credits, the morse code (also credits), and the spectra "age of the universe" if I am correct (credits again).

All the "eggs" found so far are just in the credits? None from the actual game?

Anyone got a list of Platinum track phrases?

Also, there's the track that once you finish, Cindy says something about how you should try it again with no faults. Like a master musical piece each note must be pitch perfect.

I'd like to know what this tracks plat-phrase is, along with how the end varies upon plat-completion.

[Tried looking up what track, game froze-crashed it's in the same group as the great crater if I'm right, second to last sequence]

I think few tracks have seemingly "incomplete" ending animations (or sequences) and I think it needs to be done in plat-time to see the egg, assuming there is one.

Yeah I'd also noticed that 'Don't fault, don't stop the music' line. The track your thinking of is The Great Crater.

    ^^^

Actually Joe that's a different reference. Nice catch (i think)

I was talking about RedLynx Derby.

The regular phrase on that track is "Repetition builds strength."

Looking around I can't seem to find any sort of plat-phrases in Fusion. I only have (cough) two or so and unless the single phrase flat out changes, it seems Fusion doesn't have them.

Hey all, Totally not up to date with whats been going on (had a kid 2 weeks ago) but I decided to make this video to explain to others that the 5th key is more than just a simple achievement. Not sure if you guys agree or have any more and I'm keen to hear anything else, but I thought I'd just share this here if you were interested. Kid's crying again so i'm off, hope you are all well and all that!

Also someone posted this on reddit and it had a ton of interest.

At the time of posting this, the video had over 7,000 views in about 24 hours If nothing else it will get more people interested int he riddle.. just wish I had put more effort into the video now.

I think it was a great vid FatShady. Aussie accent is my favorite to listen to so you could ramble for an hour or so and I'd dig it.

Most important though, CONGRATS ON THE NEW ADDITION TO YOUR FAMILY!

PS that vid should maybe get a cross-post to /r/gaming

Thanks, vid was fun to make, you know me, just trying to create awareness for this awesome riddle stuff.. just glad that it really took off this time. At the time of writing there have been over 80,000 views on that video so that is a lot more people that now know about 2113 and I am happy about that. This riddle and future ones deserve that.

I can't self promote so feel free to post where you think it fits. I've tried doing a few of my own vids on /r/gaming and mods have been all over it. I can't stop one of you guys though.

And so we are all clear, I wasn't asked to do this, I had my first night in 2 weeks after the birth of my daughter and I made about 5 vids, this being one of them. I didn't plan it so hopefully you lot are happy with it. I also feel guilty that I haven't written the article I said I would. It's drafted but not there yet. I showed it to ANBA in Feb so it's on the right track.

Anyway, so happy that this has been as popular as it has and I know that you guys will be happy that there is more attention. I bet the guys with keys are happy that they didn't have 80,000 people to compete with to pick them up

Imagine in 2113....if enough people know about it there could be an opening ceremony under the tower and televised in space etc. haha.

    EDIT - Congrats Shady.
