Its hard to keep on top of so many things , especially with so many dead ends. I guess my theory is that it most deffo has something to do with DNA , almost everything i have read here which isnt all but alot seems to come back around to some sort of human growth , even the kuato lives images ( thanks to that dude ) seems to support this. Wasnt he a growth , or mutant giving another reason to believe its all about DNA.
The clone aspect is what im trying to look into , not that im any good at this sort of thing hahah. Maybe if they ever decide to actually give us the clone boxes that are in a vast amount of the ingame tracks , there might be some deeper clue. Why haven't they given us these in any dlc for the editor ? they seem already built and ready to implement into any dlc so it makes you wonder if there is any significant thing about this clone boxes. Possibly could be that they are in the editor but as different pieces and we just have to figure out which parts. Proberbly not but worht looking
Again im not all clued up about this and admit havent followed the thread completely but still its good to wonder isnt it. I reckon the clones are the way forward , no doubt another dead end but fun looking hahah
Has anyone analysed the new 'DLC soundtrack' in an analyser and maybe taken sounds out e.g. the instrumental and seen what lies deep in there? I thought it was a bit strange how shifty on his post about it here: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...DLC-Soundtrack
Seems a bit out of place to bring up the easter egg when trying to make it public about a soundtrack, unless there's something I'm missing that makes it obvious why he mentioned it in that thread...
It would make sense to hide stuff within the music, also mutetus did say the clue he gave is somewhere in the DLC, maybe this is what he meant?
Sidenote, nice find on those images, really looks like something, just hope it's not a red herring.
another thing I came across today, in the level Base Apollo.
exploring a replay, inspecting sounds, wandering the level... I found this BEHIND the starting point. outside of the building you start in.
I figure, why bother. Maybe just something left by the level designer(s) or a placeholder for use later... but it doesn't move. strange, i thought.
Then while playing through the level I noticed some of those number screens with A and B in front of them. the ramp just before them has a letter R. a few checkpoints prior to that one of the ramps has the letter G. so when going through the track seeing these letters in order spells GRAB.... THEN, i recalled the message for this level is "A smaller planet generally means less gravity..." and thought: No way I'm bail-launching all the way back, around the building... but I did! Not close enough to the grabber "claw" thing. But I did. Semi-considering this a dead end, but it was cool. Here's a pic of my cat flailing near the claw.
I even tried getting to a point in the track where the drive line turns and bailing backwards with no success. Again, probably a dead end, thought i'd still share though.![]()
The Void.
Here you see the room that has 058 on the wall.
This is something I am MOST CERTAIN of it. Not specifically the number, but something in this level.
You may be asking yourself about that ambulance, as it's usually not there by the time you get here. My brains kind of flustered so I'll just get right to it:
Disclaimer, might be a glitch/bug. Not entirely though.
Messing around with the blast from the gas station, bail-launching myself around... trying stuff like landing on the "floating mountain" just above and to the right, and also aiming for the building to the far right (of the gas station, past the floating "red plus") I just decided to launch high.
This faded to black and spawned me like 4 to 5 checkpoints later. That's right, I skipped ahead around FIVE checkpoints (at the cost of a fault) and showed up here. What do you think? A glitch?
Well that aside, I figured I was on to something, and also, trapped. No way out, so forward a few steps and backward a few steps is all I could do. And TWICE when backed up most the way close to the fire I heard a "ding" like a single chime from an alarm clock. The metal kind. I could only get the sound to reproduce two times, both on the same run between faults... perhaps there was something I had done prior to this... (?) ...that I didn't do on later restarts.
This all happens right before the HOSPITAL floats upward and the "secret" sound is played. Maybe worth mentioning the sound plays regardless once you get to that point. But there is a chance the sound is there to suggest the secret, and previous steps need to be fulfilled to access it.
And what's up with the "phone/calculator" thing at the start of the level on the ground behind you? It seems to be hooked up to big speakers... So much to wonder.
Oh and to get past the ambulance (so you can finish level, watch replay, whatever) you have to do something like, get up to it, let yourself "trot back"to the fire and bail back and to the left. This triggers the original event to clear the path.
Finally, regarding The Void, near the first half of the track there is that ... energy stuff... (you can tell i'm a tad exhausted) below and if you fall into it it pulls you to the center and holds you there... this might all have something to do with the level "phrase" which says something like "dive in" regarding dimensional portals or something.
Now real quick I just want to mention Base Apollo again, closer to the end, there is a pipe below a gap that you jump over that has a strong pull on it. "Gravitational" is the word to best describe it.
double post sorry***

More coming VERY soon, trying to fix my recording software so it actually can record my replay.**
**Here it is, still unfinished/unsolved.

Consider the journey of discovery here is somewhat it's own reward. Also, I'd be lying if I said I'm not grateful for clarifying the claw grabber portal thing in Base Apollo.
If we dig around the game files, we aren't accomplishing this in the way it was meant to be enjoyed.
Please be mindful of what you share, and I can tell you've already held back somewhat with respect to RedLynx. So thanks for that.
It's also worth noting here that you haven't said "hey there's a complicated logic thing around this area" or "look here" because this is definitely not what I'm (presumably we're) looking for (so thanks again).
All that said, the penguin seems to have a headlamp and maybe the next place we need to look (after activating the penguin) could be a cave or dark place. Just a hunch.

Anba's just posted here too.
