Here's the update I promised:
We’re listening to your feedback and we are planning to remove the 52 track limit that Track Central feeds currently display. This change will allow for a near limitless amount of tracks to be put into feeds, including Featured and Favorites. We can’t currently give an exact date, but this limit will be removed in an update.
We are also looking over all of the feedback that has been provided, so if you think of something that isn't on the list, let us know.
Great news Shifty, this will allow browsing of massive amounts of tracks (but will also obviously require more sorting options in TC to make sense of this).Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai Go to original post
The one question most of us would like addressed now is local management of tracks, and ideally more than 1000 that we had in Evo.
As I have said before there are 3 big issues with the current 'online only/Ubi server' setup:
Ubi Server/Online only issues:
i) you unfavourite a track and lose it into the aether of TC, or
ii) Ubi take tracks down or tracks get reported/removed beyond your control, your collection of your favourite tracks simply isn't your own anymore a la YouTube where uploaders can remove anything at will and unless you download the videos you have no control. HDD space is not at a premium with track downloads anyway; or
iii) you lose internet or Ubi servers go down and you cannot play ANY customs, let alone download new ones.
I would be delighted to have control over downloads back, so would most of this forum I imagine.
Searching by creator is much easier (it's not case sensitive!) and finding a recently de-favorited track isn't that difficult, though there will always be some issues finding things because of the sheer volume of UGC on Track Central. Add in the fact that many builders don't always properly list their creations and you are just adding a bit more frustration to the chaos. We do have plans for TC, and I should have information to share on that soon.Originally Posted by morrillo
Well, if tracks get removed from the feeds then they shouldn't be available, even in a favorites feed. This isn't a design flaw, it's the correct implementation of the report/moderation functions. These are creations that break rules and should not have been uploaded in the first place, the availability of correctly flagged and removed tracks isn't something that I want to debate about because, honestly, it shouldn't be an issue.Originally Posted by morrillo

now: TC/fusion dont save runs over a certain time (ca 12 to 14 minutes) which is still way lower than the time limit on 30 min, any news regarding this?
I am near illiterate in computer coding jargon things, so if someone who is reads this is then I'm sorry if I am overlooking or oversimplifying anything.
Hear it is, all of the bugs, suggested changes and tweaks to the game that are listed hear. Are they not all theoretically possible to be fixed and changed as long as the game engine permits it?
Bigger changes means more lines of code, so a big update file to download. So if I am right in my simple like knowledge of computers, that all is technically possible through coming updates.
And if I am right I guess this post is to spread a little optimism.
What's wrong with giving user the option of downloading the contents to the local harddrive? Please give me an honest and detail explanation....Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai Go to original post
Note: This has been done in Trials Evo before. Nothing new here.
Although it's not the #1 priority, you should also add the ability to remove our own tracks. I don't see the problem with wiping out the leaderboard as many persons says, after all it's our track, we're supposed to be free to do what we want to do with it.Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai Go to original post
Im with alot of people on the track central issues.
I play alot of custom tracks and It would be nice to have the option to delete the ones you dont like.
They all get stored on your hard drive as before but you have to remember which you want to keep and which to remove singulary.
removing from hard rvie via the dash board is frustrating to me and many others.
I dont want my drive filling up with tracks i hate.
please give us the option to delete in game
rant over

sebbbi has explained this before, but I'll do it again. When someone invests hours into getting a good run on a track, the track creator shouldn't be able to wipe out your progress on a whim.Originally Posted by oRz_iPsyKoZ Go to original post
