This TC is the greatest piece of crap I've ever seen... Honestly Ubi, what the [edit] did you do with it. The "directly playing tracks without download" thing is a great idea. Yeah, it's a masterpiece, it just requires to be online. 'Cause if you're offline/can't access to Internet you get simply [edit] up. Very good job. *applause*
Also where the [edit] is the "Most recent extreme tracks" section ? Why didn't you keep the Evo system, and you could just have added the "Add to favs" feature ?
I'm really disappointed. I don't know if it was a good idea to buy this game. Congrats Ubi developers, you turned a perfect license into a pathetic piece of [edit]. Like this forum besides. I think I'm gonna follow all the lads who get back to Evo.
I've always been one to give people the benefit of the doubt, and I've tried to stay as optimistic as I could with Fusion, but I completely agree, Track Central is a terrible and messy shadow of its former self on Evo. I honestly don't know how they could have got it so wrong. TC is why I play Trials and even if I was to say 'OK maybe I'll get into the speedrunning then' the absolutely ferocious rate at which tyre glitches occurs makes me tired of trying a run after about 3 minutes. To say I'm disappointed doesn't even come close.
I'm beginning to think Gunnners is onto something by saying to go back to Evo. I was never happy that Ubisoft bought RL in the first place, but all this? For shame.
There are so many disappointments from this game starting with delayed PC launch. Talking about Trials track central design, it looks okay, but lack of ability to save tracks is really bad. I can't imagine how it would be possible to play TC tracks without internet connection or with friends. I'm feeling online multiplayer will also be questionable, because no one is giving more information. It also was one of the most popular feature. I do really hope that in the longer run, they will take time to redo Track Central. :/ Why such a great potential game has to lose essential features that makes this series so great. :/
Nicely said. Some good improvements have been suggested on here so far. . .things that seem really obvious. If there are things that must be preserved at all costs to keep this game exceptional, its TC and the Editor. Dont know why they thought it was ready for prime time....... maybe some tutorials pointing out what we are missing is the best approach. Regardless, I hope they have a team dedicated to improving this aspect ASAP.Originally Posted by KraftsCheese Go to original post
Flabbergasted! TC is horrible. Like D2Dahaka said: this is a disaster, basically RedLynx has created a superb piece of code in that editor, it's a true gem and it gives the possibility for players to create gems of their own, and then they throw those gems in a septic tank. The GUI of Evolution TC on 360 is good, all it needed was track difficulty in the summary and voila!
"The Future" looks bleak... If TC stays like that I simply will not be playing Fusion after I got all plats, challenges and achievements (a week?). That's a shame because I played every Trials game for almost 15 years but TC is what I was looking for, if it's broken I bail, particularly the "play tracks" section, removing it was a terrible idea.
SIMPLE SOLUTION
1- Track name
2- Track Creator
3- Difficulty
4- Track owned?, Y/N
5- Medal
6- Times Downloaded
7- Rating
And a proper way to browse stored tracks, Because TC is pretty useless without it IMO.
Agree 100%: so simple, it makes you wonder who on earth made the decision NOT to do it this way?Originally Posted by QcChopper Go to original post
It seems RL are on a mission to implode...Frontier for me was a massive missed opportunity, the forum move fragmented the community and now Fusion TC is a disaster.
I am just about where you are QC, plat the tracks and move on to something else, which is so very sad given the hundreds of hours I enjoyed on Evo TC.
