Well this game pretty much sucks. Trials Evolution slaughters Fusion in every category (except not being able to do tricks).
- The publisher sucks. Where did they suddenly come from?
- The price sucks.
- The music absolutely sucks. Ubisoft obviously cut corners there.
- The single player levels suck for 95% of the game. Nowhere near as good as Evolution.
- The skill games SUCK. What a joke, this should have been way better! For $40 there should have been way more mini games. "Nope, gonna have to pay for that!"
- FMX races are ok, but there's hardly any of them & no trick guide is stupid. I don't even think the tricks work right all the time anyways, seems pretty glitchy to me.
- The bike customization is a JOKE!!! Let me guess, it was Ubisoft's idea to take away the bike customizing...
- The futuristic theme is junk.
- The split screen sucks so far.
- This game reeks of "pay-for-content", so that sucks. Ubisoft again.
- This game (along with virtually every other available PS4 title) is so dumbed down its pathetic. WHAT IS GOING ON?!! Double the price for half the content, that's what.
- The opening theme song repeats the lyrics "Welcome to the future", well if this is what the future has in store then I feel sorry for anybody who wasted $700+ on a PS4 & components just so they can play a bunch of sh*tty overpriced cellphone games & PS3 remakes. WHAT A JOKE!
Trials Fusion reminds me of MX vs. ATV Alive - a withered old skeleton of its former self, with a gigantic leech (Ubisoft) sucking the remaining lifeblood out of the dying corpse. I DO NOT RECOMMEND buying this game if you have the option to buy Evolution instead. Trials Evolution is a WAY better game than this in all categories except for not being able to do tricks. Evolution is a 9/10 & half the price. Fusion is a 7/10 at best, typical new age crap. Minimal product, maximum profit. Don't even give these companies your $$.
Ubisoft didn't suddenly come from anywhere. They've been around for years. The price, well, it's not double the price at all. It's double the price if you buy it with the season pass but that's down to you. The normal digital version is normal price. The music I assume is down to the devs not Ubi. As for the pay for content thing, well, I can't really comment on that since I don't have it yet but where Ubisoft is concerned, being the publisher, yeah, there likely is some nickel and diming going on.Originally Posted by needlebanger Go to original post
Can't comment on your other points.
Really? because the challenges involved with fusion and tracks such as inferno 4 beg to differ.Originally Posted by needlebanger Go to original post
but whatever...everyone has an opinion, even if theirs is stupidly negative
Despite your uber rant you still give it a 7/10. Ubisoft obviously had a little say in the title (being that they probably funded the majority of it) (that is speculation btw)
Having played the PC Beta I have to say I'm very much looking forward to getting it on 360 tomorrow morning. I'm reserving my judgment on FMX being included but if nothing else it will provide some hilarious crashes. You don't have to press that FMX button (unless of course for completion of challenges and the training modules) which I'm very pleased for.
