Anyone In the UK know why Supermarkets aren't selling fusion till the 17th and 18th

So the official release date is the 16th right

    ASDA, 17th
    http://direct.asda.com/Trials-Fusion...efault,pd.html

I also phoned them, she said they don't have it in store, and the earliest would be 17th

    Tesco 18th
    http://www.tesco.com/direct/trials-f...skuId=634-5669

Again I phoned my local store they said the system is showing it as unavailable and there will be no further information till the morning of the 17th

Luckily I have manged to find somewhere that will sell me the game locally in the morning,
What confuses me is why the big chain 24 hour supermarkets in England have different release dates, and dates that are later then the official release date

In America I saw people streaming last night,
Having said they picked it up at midnight in Walmart (Which is the American Uk ASDA equivalent, ASDA is owned by Walmart)

It's just so weird to me that the absolute earliest I can pick it up is 8am on Wednesday,
That the Big Chain supermarkets don't seem to stock it on time or be given the actual release dates
And that the earliest of 8am, is 29 hours after people In the states were able to pick up a version at walmart with no hassle,

I guess I am slightly disappointed that unlike America I cant Pick up a disc version at midnight
Clearly England is terrible at stocking, and distributing Fusion

As I have explained to you before in your other thread, Fusion retail copies will folloow the same procedure as any other retail game. A Tuesdayrelease in NA and a Friday release in UK. Digital varies from Tuesday for US PSN, to Wednesday for Euro PSN and XBL. The April 16th release date is the day that applies to most of the digital downloads.

I suppose I should let you in on a little secret but be warned, a very detailed metaphor approaches....

Suppose the exclusivity of all things on earth is represent by a toilet brush. On one end with have a really soft and cushioned grip with ergonomics built in to give the best handling possible. This is the US and Canada. On the other end of the toilet brush is the smelly, half broken brush used to clean the most filthiest of messes. THIS is everybody else. Do you understand now :P

Ps. US gets it before people elsewhere, including places like Asda and Tesco because retail games are released on a Friday in europe

It's been clearly stated that digital was 16th and hard copy was 18th??

(But saying that I have had an email saying mine has been posted from Game)

Well, Amazon have dispatched my retail version and it'll be here tomorrow. GAME are selling it in store on the 17th same as ASDA etc. That's Thursday. No idea why they're doing that because like Barry said, games are usually out on Friday here in the UK.

It sounds like UK distributors have all been given different dates for the box version, widespread confusion. They all vary
How this happened I don't know

    Amazon 16th
    Argos 16th
    Asda 17th
    Game 17th
    Tesco 18th

Yep, seems that way. Its almost as if they are confused by the date for digital download and retail purchase and went ahead and made up their own dates. :S lol
