Does a "standard" edition even exist? if so, when does it? | Forums

im interested in the (PS4 DIGITAL STANDARD EDITION)
I originally assumed it would just come out tomorrow, but now im realizing i cant find it anywhere, no online retailers even reference it. basically, i just want to know if i need to buy the game, because its out, and its 40 dollars, which is fine, or if the 20 dollar version is even happening. just want some clarity here, i might even buy the 40 dollar version but first i want to know the whole story, i think its weird that its so difficult to find out.

Do you mean the boxed version? Then there will only be the Deluxe Edition, standard only via Download as i know.

KasiCage is right, the standard version, without the season pass included, is available digitally from PSN for $20.

You can download PS4 free "demo" version of the game. It has an option to upgrade the demo to to a full game (similar to Xbox 360 version "trial"->"full" activation).
