Great job man. Watching the vids it becomes clear pretty quickly and I helped myself to plats on the first track and skill game in no time. Second track seems to not give you much air time to do multiple tricks so I'm looking forward to your easy plat vid on that one.

@ Maka: Nice one too mate. Love your guides. You going to do one for all the challenges / achievements?

I'm doing worse at the fix tricks now that I understand how things work... I can't stand this game mode, unresponsive tricks **** everything up, this isn't fun in the slightest.

While i understand what you mean to an extent.

There is no way blind luck can ever beat true understanding of FMX.
I suggest that you take a break from fmx for a while and come back in a day or two. Or practice in the "FMX Master" Skill Game for a bit.

I watched Vantier's FMX Tutorials, practiced quite a bit and, well, it's a little bit embarrassing now that I startet a thread about how the FMX system is flawed and ended up in the Top Ten of every FMX Track - two of them #2 and another one on #1. :'D

Nice run, im starting to question what i thought i knew about how the scoring system works though, if anyone thinks they understand it plz do tell so i can update the tutorial info.

Heres the video that made me realize theres something i dont know

on the 3rd jump (the big one) he lands a perfect 3 chain combo at x10 multiplier. And it goes from 9300 to 89000........k well doesnt quite add up, but its close, moving on.....

Then on the 5th jump he lands a perfect 2 chain combo at x12 multiplier. And it goes from 4900 to 112000!!!!! Mind Blown, Redlynx, Please explain lol.

Ok Vantier so basically, if he is on 10x multiplier when he does the first trick and gets 4,000, it will stack up 40,000 for when he lands. If it drops while he is doing the second trick to x9 and gets 4,000 it will stack up 36,000... Try look at his multiplier as he holds the tricks. Hope this helps bud, also have you seen SneakyLeroy on Airtime, 774937 score, wow, amazing.

Hey vantier, I saw your comment on my chanel and thought i'd check out the site so hi lol.. moving on.. I started playing fmx and after a day or two I started understanding how it worked aswell (although I never really understood the tricks and do trick so differently than what you have posted here.) When it comes to high multiplier the game is kinda broken but how I think it is that for some reason after 11 or so it multiplies your score with your previous multiplier because 4908*12 = 58 896 now however if you do 4908*23 = 112 884 which is the score I got on that jump. Now, I don't know when it starts multiplying with the previous and next multiplier you get but on airtime I tried out a different combination and did 4 tricks on the last jump and landed with 295k on a decent landing (landed with x13.)
If you want me to I can upload a unlisted video of the tracks showing my sticks aswell
I will currently be trying to figure out a way to get 1 million on airtime, if you want to talk to me add me on skype (gwokface)

Sorry for low use of punctuation and commas I kinda suck at that (English isn't my main language)

Here's a few updates scores and included sticks (all videos are unlisted due to fact my channel isn't really about trials stuff)
I also tried putting the videos so you could just click them on the site but couldn't figure out of it sorry..

    Daredevil Showdown 356k

    Titan Temple 571k

    Airtime 958k

    Polar Accelerator 561k

Here's a little breakdown about the crazy scores towards the end of all runs (the broken multipliers)

x11 is actually x15 but -2k (I checked out this on both Titan Temple & Airtime when I had x11 and it might be like x14.8 or something but figure it's easier to keep it as x15
x12 Is actually x23 (multiplied by current & previous multiplier so it's x23)
    x13 Is actually x36 (multiplied with the current multiplier & both multipliers after 10 (11 & 12) so it's 11 + 12 + 13 which is x36
x14 (If possible and like the rest) you would have an x50 which I tried adding the last jump on Airtime and came up with about 500k I guess you would have to be really lucky to get it but still, it's an possibility..

I've tested all numbers from 11 - 13 and with perfect landings I get the exact same scores as those multiplies
Hope that makes some of you guys understand fmx a little better (although it doesn't make any actually sense itself but yeah)

Summary: Key to highscores on FMX is getting to x11 as fast as possible ^^

It would appear you have figured it out, still doesnt make sense why it does it like that or if thats even intentional. If it is, it seems a bit strange.

NOTE:Im a bit burnt out on FMX right now lol, so it may be a while before i get around to updating the guide at all. But it will be done......

If multiplier displays like 11 , 12, 13, 14 etc, you'd think thats intended, instead of those huge numbers posted here Kind of ruins the competition for top spots.

Personally I hope it gets fixed to normal values.
