So now not only are people going to stop playing because RL won't appeal to their "Disable the B button dammit!" but top racers are cheesing it because of the right analog stick? Natural selection baby, Bye-bye! Let's clean up TC by making players disgusted at their precious company that they think they own. Unless Ubi plays this like Bungie and makes all their map elements the same color with no variations, you'll still be able to play your dirty garages, sewers and trash dumps. And you could probably disable the right-stick too.
I'm saying all this cause the game ain't even out yet, the Beta is a demo, there are 4 more DLC's than Evo had, and you don't HAVE to use the Quad (it's not a bike because 'bi' means 2 wheels) just as you didn't have to use the Donkey, which I think you had to actually purchase HD meaning it was like a DLC of it's own. Now I'm not familiar with the tire-glitching you're referring to, but the Donkey's rear tire would stick to metal beams and it's size will kill you for sneezing too hard - but it's still loved despite all it's faults <3.
Speaking as a Skill gamer & creator, I'm stoked about the map editing options and all the coding, and that Quad? Dislodge that thing, pop a rotation joint on the axles, one on the front for steering, and you've got a free copy of ATV Off-road Fury + the Trials map editor; TWO games for one! Oh My Gawd, aircraft, watercraft, robotics, the rider himself... Anyone with a complaint about tires, tricks, colors.. Have you not been paying attention to Evo's TC in the last X years?? Tricks = petty. Tire glitches = understandable for the OCD's. Too much white? Too soon to tell for sure.
Bottom line. Fact is you get soo much content with the Trials series it still impresses me what people can do with it, and what can still be done. Remember the thread where RL asked people to complete a track with style rather than speed? It's as good of a game as you want it to be. Don't change your game, change up your game.
Worst case? Evo's still around and I plan to keep playing it, I'd keep playing HD if it had a TC.
Buuuut if any of you do decide to wait for a while, at least there may be some top quality or just damn good fun awaiting you on Track Central.

*Edit* I just watched the Track Jam entries and I soooo getting this!
Lol @ Natural selection. You're referring to some of the best players on the game. Survival of the slowest haha.Originally Posted by JolanXBL Go to original post
You do have to use the quad, because it's the fastest bike on the track.
I always love to hear when people don't know what tire glitching is. Ignorance is bliss.

But anyway i already know my time on Fusion won't last as long as Evo or HD simply because this forum still sucks, don't care what they do, its not right and I can't bear to use it.
Just a quick word about the Tyre glitches .. are those still present? Noo!!
My opinion is that these glitches are NOT random. They can be reproduced under similar conditions and even appear in replay's and such. I believe it to be the product of the excellently balanced physics that Redlynx has evolved over the years. Removing that feature will probably remove stuff like hanging upside down on ninja rails and so forth ..
I can say the same about the rear wheel rotating around the wrong axis when riding backwards down a rounded slope.
And I think this is the reason they haven't been able to fix it in Evo; they depended on it.
One of the techs should be able to fix it though ..
What do you guys think?
I think you have no idea what a tire glitch is. They are definitely still present.
Example: When I was building my track this past week at Track Jam, I noticed a major one. If you watch my track video, look at the pipe with the fire shooting out of it. Now look at the plank I placed on top of it....Take a wild guess why I put that plank there...About 25% of the time I tried to ride on that pipe, my tire would literally catch and my rider wouldn't move AT ALL. inb4 you should have just used a custom collision
Am I the only person not that excited for Fusion, as they were for Evo? I read tons of articles, and watched a lot of Evo videos when it was in production. But I have only watched 2/3 vids about Fusion so far.
And now I read that tire glitches/corrupt replays will be making a return for their 3rd Xbox game, a Tony Hawk trick mode (lol), and no multiplayer at launch gives me major concerns about this game.
Don't get me wrong, I will definitely be getting it, because I still love Trials. (Pre-Ubisoft Trials that is.)
