I never noticed any tire glitches either.Originally Posted by Camzarcar Go to original post

According to a leak over the weekend there is a day one patch in place for syncing replays correctly, which would imply a fix may have been found for that through the beta testing
As for stride, I dont have an issue with him posting his frustration at all, I understand the top riders have a great deal of issue with tyre glitches. But I have no knowledge of what, if anything, can be done about that.
I'm not saying you're right or wrong, but as with some other things that have been said recently, I plan to withhold judgement until we get the full game and can see exactly what all the content is for ourselves. Hopefully we will discover that the roler-coaster lines debate is not an issue any longer, for example.
Just to chime in. I can understand the points of view regarding Fusion being targeted at a wider audience and I somewhat agree based in the portion of the game I have played thus far. I understand that, they want to grow the player base and their marketing strategy seems to support that. However, I am optimistic that with the promised DLCs being released the game will expand and provide more content suitable for people like us who will play Fusion right up until the next Trials game. That being said the career format isn't speed runner friendly IMHO. I'm not a fan of the career format, but it is what it is and for me personally it's all about track central.
@Barry: It's hard to respond to such a neutral post lol. I just wanted to say that, as a player with over 60 days on Evo, I can empathize with Stride. Nothing is done to improve our experience on the game.
@D2 Dahaka: I appreciate your optimism, but I don't think we should have to wait until DLC comes out to get tracks that appeal to us. I look forward to what you bring to TC!
they certainly did stuff for the hardcore fans and speedrunners
tyre glitching and replays aside which are related to game engine which can never work perfectly making it hard to tell how hard rl is trying to improve it, doesn't mean we can't complain, we need to make sure rl never forgets the base game is top priority
they added a notification center that tells you when a friend has beaten you on a track for competition this a something that could help alot
they added teams, what that means i don't know, might be something like they had in trials 2(didn't play that one though so don't know what its like) but i know atleast 1 person who requested the team thing from trials 2
the addition of fmx might mean we have less dl focused tracks that are really fun to speedrun which isn't a good thing at all, but maybe it allows us to have more fun in other parts of the game, like it could make supercross more fun
I'll share a few of my opinions:
1. I highly doubt a day one patch is going to fix a broken replay system that has been around for many years.
2. I was really upset when I saw an entire section dedicated to the Panda this past weekend. It's a big, clunky mess and should have had 1, maybe 2 tracks MAX dedicated to it.
3. The hard/extreme tracks are badass! These tracks are definitely catered to the hardcore riders.
4. The editor seems to have shifted from small/medium sized objects to MASSIVE objects. A ton of huge buildings, structures.
There's a ton more I'd love to talk about, but I don't know if I'm allowed to![]()
It was a while ago now but from memory, sebbbi just explained that tyre-glitching couldnt be fixed months after the game had been released because any changes to the physics-engine would essentially void all current runs, for fairness it had to stay the same (and maybe there were technical complications regarding implementing such core changes to an already "finished" game, I dunno).Originally Posted by JoeRegular Go to original post
Which says nothing about why they couldnt be fixed (or at least minimized) for Fusion. Not saying fixing it would be easy, but impossible? Tyre-glitching was never mentioned once in Trials HD's lifespan so lets not pretend that flaw is an unavoidable side-effect of a good physics engine.
