I think its best I dont share my views on Frontier, but lets just say I wasnt referring to that in anything I've said.

And I hope any negativity gets blown away by Fusion as I know you do too. I really hope we all eat whatever doubts we have/had and its something we all decide has been really well made and worth buying!

Amen to that. I am sure we will absolutely love it, even if a few decisions are not what we hoped for.

I am sure fusion will be plenty hard enough for 95% of the typical players, and for the rest there will always be Track Central. That's the beauty of this game....in the end it doesn't really matter how difficult the RRL tracks are when so many builders can make more that are of good quality.

I agree with xitooner because there is going to be a track central leaderboards (i think) so who really cares about the redlynx tracks? except the hards and extremes of couse

If the developers took a day to entirely debug what actually goes wrong when the tire glitches takes place (because the physics engine is probably going *cough* nuts when it happens), then maybe they could figure something out. It's a serious glitch within the core fanbase and I really hope they can figure out if it's possible to fix it with the current physics engine. At least come with an official statement of what's going on and what's possible to do about the tire glitching or what feedback they need. There's a topic for when tire glitching occurs in the beta forums, if people start using that, maybe it can get us and the devs closer to a possible fix for it.

Aren't Tyre glitches inevitable in the massively variable nature of a complex physics engine?

You can't just type in a line of code and remove randomness.

They are almost inevitable, that's why they need to use a lot of time on it if they really want to fix it. If they have tried their absolute best to find out of it, it would at least be nice to know 'what's up' with the state of the bug.

^ Pretty much, its night-on impossible to make something like Trials without having some glitches. My stance on the tyre glitches on Evo always stayed the same, which is yes its annoying but ignorable for the most part as it was kinda semi-rare and sometimes you just have to go 'yeah well its a physics game at the end of the day so what realistically can you do.'

But on Fusion they're WAY worse (at least to me it seems this way, but I haven't really tried to go for good runs or anything) and it definitely doesn't seem ignorable for someone who plays the SP competitively. As with Evo I'm gonna mainly stick to ninjas on TC so hopefully it might not affect me too much but who knows.

@Barry: Tire glitches/broken replays should have been an absolute priority for Fusion. Instead they add more features to the game because it's going to get them more sales and exposure. In other words, selling out. A layer of glitter over a poorly crafted product. There's no excuse for us to deal with this 5 years later. FMX/roller coaster-like lines/ATV replacing donkey: All for the casuals. What has been done to improve our experience???

@Danners: You are a ninja. So naturally you will not be having/noticing tire glitches as much as someone who dedicates their time on the game to shaving off fractions of a second. They were not rare.

Stride may be overreacting, but he's right to be angry. Redlynx has adopted the same mindset most companies have nowadays. We (the hardcore fanbase) are 1. the minority of the playerbase, and 2. will buy the game regardless. We are not the priority, even though we are the reason their game is still alive.

I always thought tyre glitches were because of poorly placed custom collisions..:s tbh I've never noticed any tyre glitches really in evo, maybe I'm not looking hard enough? But if it's worse in fusion that's pretty sad.
