I officially lost all want to be competitive in Trials Fusion.

First off, the game has tons of tire glitches, which is a big turn off for anyone that is competitive. Another huge reason why I don't want to be competitive in this is because Redlynx has dedicated a whole medium section of tracks to one of the worst bikes ever thought up by Redlynx, the terrible TKO-Panda (Quad). Redlynx is officially one of my least favorite companies, and they'll continue to be like that. Every future trials game will continue to have tire glitches.

Well at least there'll be user-generated tracks with custom collisions. I really hate tire glitching too and I figured it'd be a thing of the past with Fusion... guess not.

Also, RedLynx being one of your least favorite companies? I think that's a bit harsh, even considering this new info. I think there are far worse gaming companies out there lol

Do you reckon this tire 'glitching' would be eradicated if we didn't have curve driving lines? I'm pretty sure having that in the game broke it. I dunno.

Tire glitches are tied to the engine they use I believe so since there haven't been a fix in any of the trials series I don't think this will be fixed with this engine. I do have to say however some tracks look badly designed for this bug (consistent tire glitches in some parts) wich could have been avoided by making the track different (hence why I called it bad track design) and I think they should still fix some of these things and change the tracks up a bit.

And for the quad bike, haven't really tested it and was never really competetive on gold so I don't really know what the impact is for competetive players. I have to say I was exited to become a more competetive rider with fusion, but there feel to be alot of factors that made the game less suited for this (tire glitches tied in to track design, alot of physic objects in tracks, fmx system maybe exploited to go that .1 second faster since it's physics based, maybe the quad section)

Well, at least Redlynx hasn't destroyed the whole xbox community like Micro$oft almost did.

It's a shame tire glitches aren't gone, though I've never really raged about tire glitches since I've had other problems to deal with. For example: not being good enough.

Fusion and Frontier appear to be aimed at a different (casual) audience compared to HD and Evo, sad I know

I thought the same thing about Evo compared to HD... and MANY said the same thing about HD compared to Trials 2.

I dont see how. Just becuase FMX has been added, which is no different to skill games, doesnt mean its aimed at anyone other than the normal audience imo.

Frontier for example is certainly NOT aimed at the core Trials fans, but more aimed at the mobile game audience, with the classic F2P/Jewel/pay to progress model, it is certainly far removed from a hardcore mobile Trials game.

Fusion: well I hope I eat my words. For now I will claim that almost all the press play/videos are NOT aimed at the hardcore fans, given the plethora of medium fast flowing tracks that have been shown. I am hoping there are a large number of technical tracks buried away for me to enjoy
