Gold Edition Beta was the full game.
The only thing the BETA is accomplishing at this point, aside from trolling me, is buying redlynx some time to improve performance and minor graphical bugs for "release" to ensure as good a first impression as the 8 day extension will allow. The "Game" itself is absolutely identical to the console versions otherwise, and therefore is just as finished as the console versions in all ways but performance.

There is no reason to not have a full "beta" at this point.

I think they should include a gore/blood option in an update down the road, I feel like that would be pretty interesting.
