I am sure someone (possibly Anba) said in one of the first Fusion streams that MP or leaderboards would not be cross-platform. - But wouldn't give info on TC.
If I'm not just totally making that up then I think there is a good chance of a cross-platform TC.

If there argument is that leaderboards cant be cross-platform because of performance, this is presumably because the physics/timings are not consistent across different platforms and are dependent on the machine running the game.
Which means, all PC leaderboards are essentially meaningless?
    Cool Story

This is exactly what aBz xMaGiiK told me (Cruxy explained that to him).

I hate being so negative when there's so many positives to look forward to :/

If such definitive statements have been made about cross platform lb's it should be stickied somewhere here so it's easy to find for anyone interested. I've been trying to remain open minded after Shifty posted something to the effect of 'we're looking into it/trying to make it happen', but really don't know what to think right now.

Much more than a shame, if this is true it'll be another nail in the coffin.

A fractured and constantly dwindling community regs, saddens me...at least we enjoyed the heyday of Evo.

How could track central be cross platform? I read an interview that said next gen will have greater complexity. How can a fully complexified track work then on the 360? It would be nice if they just told us what this game will do before it comes out, been burned by too much empty hype. All this "oh boy! Check out fusion!" none sense is getting old. I need concrete details out the wazoo if I'm going to consider next gen and a season pass.

Actually, I consider any facts they give us in advance of release as a bonus to be grateful for, and anything they don't tell us as something that they are afraid to commit to. The easiest way to prevent a firestorm of controversy is to not throw fuel on the fire. You may WANT details out the wazoo (I do too) but it's clear we aren't gonna get it. All of us are only going to learn for sure when release occurs, and we need to accept that. RL doesn't care whether you know now if you are doing next-gen or not, because you'll be able to decide that yourself a week from now (more or less).

This is all true enough, I just say its bad business. I went from a raving evo lunatic, to someone who is on the fence about even buying the next game. They can't be going about things right.
