Diablo 3 - Reaper of Souls
Anyone actively playing this?
It's been out a week and since the 2.0 patch the game definately got new life in it for me with the new loot/spells.
My main is a wizard with about 950k damage now, can farm Torment 1 solo pretty easily and the new Adventure mode (bounties and rifts) are a lot more fun then repeating aimless story parts over and over, and you get some nice bonus xp/gamble gear along the way.
There are still some flaws like some monster types/abilities being far more powerful then others and still the majority of items is bad, altho not as useless as before as most items are still useable at lower gear levels. And theres a lot more variation in stats to depend on, mainly the % fire damage/cold damage etc, and %skill damage.
Too bad weapons are still far too dependant on a green socket to be useful, but you can reroll 1 stat on items now with the new NPC, but it does cost a load of gold after a few failed tries.

I don't play Hardcore cause I don't feel like putting 100+ hours into something you instantly can lose.

Trying really hard to resist and will be picking up on PS4. Avoided the original release on PC despite waiting on it for a decade, because the game in its original form made me really angry. Ended up picking up on 360 eventually and enjoyed it thoroughly, but got bored post level 60 due to the lack of environments and variations between modes and loot weren't enough to keep me going back. Hoping Reeper of Souls will give the game the longevity I was hoping for.

patch 2.0.4 and todays legendary 100% droprate buff to rifts, made crusader much stronger, pretty much outgeared my wiz now, at 700k dmg + 63% lightning + 26% vs elites, I can play torment 3 solo now. I can't play for hours on end so doing like an act worth of bounties or a rift makes for nice varied playsessions.
Never expected to reach things like 9000 strength (in-game), and gear isn't even done yet.
I'm like paragon 126 now, but being able to play higher torments speeds up xp drasticly cause it scales somewhat with bounty/cursed chest/rift xp rewards, seen reward close to 30million xp one time at T3.
I will probably spend most of my time in the PC version of Fusion , 2 weeks from now , but the thought of ladders and tiered rifts for D3 and frequent updates will keep me looking back once in a while cause right now RoS is great.
In the end it all comes down to luck of drops and luck of stat rolls, but when an orange/green drops the feeling is just so much better now cause even bad legendaries got purpose as crafting/mystic materials

2.0.5 came out yesterday, lots of changes for some classes, especially crusaders, 2.1 will apparently focus on monks and items.
Also there's a 1 week anniversary event (2 years of Diablo 3) giving double rift keys and 100% more legendary chance right now until the 22nd.

Season 1 fully underway, quite fun to re-start from nothing working your way up, in terms of gold/gear/crafting. With a bunch of new items/achievements per season.
Although you can still go adventure mode from scratch if you unlocked it before, but there's still the split between normal & hardcore unlock criterias.
Got a 70 season Demon hunter now, and found the season-only Bow (pulls enemies together) with good rolls&socket and must say it's a fun item, just need to hope for a specific quiver (instant bola) to drop to use it even better, but right now it works wonders in multiplayer game with ice bola pulling/freezing groups.
http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/T.../hero/47410408 - paragon level isn't shown for season at the moment so it takes the main level so it's not correct :P
