I've been a huge fan of of the Trials series, and own Trials HD and Evo on the good 'ol Xbox.
I'm more of a PC gamer these days so I picked this up on Steam today, and it seems to run very badly. I'm quite disappointed actually. Now, considering my PC runs BF4, Crysis 3, Metro Last Light etc. on Ultra no problems, I didn't expect there to be massive slowdown on this title...
Is this just because it's not fully optimized yet as it's early access? I'm hoping this is the case.
A little reassurance would be nice though, I'm new around here so not sure if this has come up before. The framerate problems are a big deal on a game all about timing and control surely?
Apologies if this has been answered already but as I say I'm new here, be gentle!
Thanks,
KN

I wasn't expecting this to run on the highest quality, but really, it's not we need a rig to run Crysis 3 to play this. I did manage to get it much closer to a normal speed by lowering the resolution, though. Below are my specs:
AMD A8-4500M 1.9GHz (2.8GHz Turbo Boost, I believe)
8GB DDR3 RAM
AMD Radeon HD 7640G (4GB)
GTX 650ti should be enough to run the game at stable 60 fps. What resolution and graphics quality settings are you using? Does the problem go away if you decrease the resolution or settings?Originally Posted by Kamikazee_Ninja Go to original post
I'm geting some issues with framerate too. When I put the counter on it shows 60fps, some points in the map it will drop down to below 30fps and lag quite badly making it unridable. I set the resolution to 1980x1080 everything on high, should run it fun but can't. I dropped some of the settings to medium/low, still got a bit of framerate issue. When I set the resolution to 1280x720 it seems a little better but I'd rather run it at 1080p because I get black borders on 720p.
