Hey guys with the Trials Evo era coming to an end and the era of Fusion beginning I thought it would be nice to pay tribute to Trials Evo. This thread is for people to tell us what Trials Evo means to you and how it changed your view on games. It is also a place where you can tell us when your releasing your last track on Trials Evo. I will be making a list as they come in and adding your posts to the OP. Please put your gamertag in the post.
Trials Evo for me was one of the best"" no wait The Best Game I'v ever played. I was never good at art or drawing at all. Evo gave me the chance to express my artistic ability thru a different medium. The moment i realized my imagination was the limit it blew my mind. The chance to create whatever you want, create your own world. No other game that i have played has ever done it as good as Trials Evo.

First encountered Trials when a demo of HD was made available on Xbox Live.Tried the first track and didn't think too much to it.A week or so later I visited a mate, he'd downloaded the demo, so we had a go trying to beat each other on one of the tracks.3 hours later I just knew I was going to purchase this game, and never looked back.HD was now my favourite game ever, but.........
Then Evo came along, had real fun with the game, but it was TC that gave me the most joy.So many exceptional builders have come to the fore this last 2 years and I'm still enjoying the game 2 years down the line.Made lots of cool friends, love the community and the RL guys, and look forward to Fusion.See you there, guys.
How did it change my view on games? Well, I don't play anything else now, lol.

Pretty much the same as rude boy
HD plus one mate who played it, was where the competiton started
Evo then made me aware of the massive community that came with the series
HD and evo are my most played games ever.. (Even more that Mario cart 64)
I hope the evo community doesn't die off

I had almost the same experience but i had played the flash games at school years earlier(only thing i played on mini clip)
Me and a friend played the HD demo for week's before i went out and purchased my first 1200 microsoft points best decision ever and then a few years later evo was released i fell in love all over again
Now lets hope with fusion many more ppl have a similar experience and fall in love with the badassery that is trials.

The first time I ever saw trials was when my son was playing on the flash game on pc(great little game).Had a quick go and then spent the next couple of days trying to 0 fault it.Followed the link to Trials 2 se,watched some videos and thought I've got to get this.Unfortunately my crappy pc wasn't able to run it so kind of just accepted that I'd never get to play it.
Then about six months later HD was announced for the 360.Played the demo and the next day bought the full game.Did'nt touch another game for about two months after that. When evo came out, actually booked three days off work just to play it.Played it so much that it killed my xbox. The problem with other games is that once you have finished them that's pretty much it.But there is something about trials that keeps you coming back, sure I've had times where I haven't played it for a month or so but I always come back to it.
Been playing games since the spectrum 48k days and without doubt these are THE best games I have played.A lot of my mates laugh at that but if you've been bitten by the trials bug there's nothing you can do.My single best moment in gaming was the day I finally zero faulted ultimate endurance on HD,dont think I'll ever top that.
But as others have said, probably the best thing about trials is the players/community/TC.The first forum I ever joined was the redlynx trials hd one, just so I could play other people's tracks.About 90% of the people on my friends list are there because of trials.I would say it's changed my view of the gaming community, that not everyone is a screaming obnoxious idiot like what you get with a lot of other games out there. It shows that if you get the right game and right people then you can get more fun and enjoyment than that £15 you spent should be able to give you.

I think the fan base will get even bigger. Even with the new forum in place that still has its kinks. but i like the new forums and they will keep getting better. Thanks for the post Meenie77
