This is so sad too hear PC having EXACTLY the same issues as Evo Gold Edition. The locked FPS is tiring to play at slo-mo at 15FPS, and the texture issues are weird. What is wrong with the game engine???? Two times in a row the same bugs apply to 95% of the PC users, while the weaker consoles having no problems?
Is this an issue with Nvidia Geforce cards (hearing many from them)? Or is AMD Radeon as well? Anyway, just realized this time my CPU and GPU specs are not enough to run fusion (AMD A4-3420 vs Athlon II X2 840 and Geforce GT 620 vs GTX 460). Goodbye Fusion PC!![]()
Note this isn't directed at you, more at the general public with framerate problems.
Fusion is a big step up in graphic requirement from gold edition, a lot of people try to run it with low/mid range or mobile GPU's thinking it needs the same specs as Evo Gold.
Even my AMD 5870, which is a 180 watt high end card (even while its 2009 tech , still better then the current R7 260) has minor FPS issues at some tracks (or in full screen).
Most reports I read are nvidia low to mid-range mobile GPUs when I looked up the specs, they are sometimes like under 100 watt which isn't very much for high end gaming.
I think Fusion is one of those games very GPU dependant and texture fillrates are needed to keep steady 60 fps to play smooth.
Mid range cards might run the game, but probably end up suffering fps, and thus lag.
on the other hand the 360 runs it, we shouldn't need high end cards unless we want the high end graficsOriginally Posted by TeriXeri Go to original post
True, but I don't think it's that simple of comparing it to xbox 360.
Best situation would if they can add more game settings to downscale the game settings for mid-end machines.
Also the system reqs are misleading, they say minimum card 5850 for example which is 1 step below a 5870, and then they say any of the 6000 7000 series, but only about 5 of each serie are on par/better then the 5850, GPU companies release a lot of budget cards that have a higher serie number but aren't instantly better then the previous.
Usually for AMD it's like 5800 / 6800 / 7800 or R9 series that depict higher end gaming cards.
5850 counterparts : 6870 or higher , 7850 or higher , Radeon R7 260X or higher
Same can be said for Nvidia but I'm not an expert on those but you can compare here:

Anyhow, my main goal is to help people, not critic their machines/specs
Just hope people will enjoy they game on whatever platform they choose.
The graphics settings menu isn't working in the first beta build. Low quality graphics settings (once working) should help you to get a smoother game play experience. We will post more information about the status of the known technical problems on Friday 28th (first patch). Please remember that is a BETA version of the game. Please keep reporting problems so we can fix them. Thank you!
I hate to sound like a bandwagon train, but it is not possible to compare what runs on the 360 to anything. Any games are typically custom built for that system. but in this case you have basically the same platform on 4 different systems. The first time to date that is possible due the Xbone & PS4, in terms of matching up all the systems available. And I can assure you the 360 version will be greatly down scaled from it's sister systems in this case. It may look close but not as good. In terms of Graphics lets face it. Every 2 years technology doubles, according to Moore's law(check it out). If memory serves your GTX 460 came out in 4th quarter of 2010(late/end of the year). That is 4 years, and 8 graphics card generations ago. I know it is still new to you, but in terms of current technology, it is slow, possibly even out dated. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying your card is bad. but if you plan to stay current on PC gaming, which has the highest graphics possible, It is not cheap to say the least. I am right behind you though, I current run 2 580's SLI. I plan on being left behind and forced to upgrade myself as soon as early 2015 to be able to run everything ultra.
