    You spent 20+ on Trials, not necessarily grinding. Even if you play the game a lot, it doesn't mean you can empathize with those of us who have spent 4+ hours of grinding in a single session.

    That is pure speculation. My theory of 'they don't care because it appeals to a relatively small amount of the Trials community' is just as valid as 'the solution is more convoluted than it seems'.

    I'm not *****ing, because I expected it. Same with broken replays.

    They both matter.

    if he played 20+days you can safely asume he has been having grind sessions on a single track of atleast 1h followed by more grinding on other tracks, so probably alot more

    what annoyed me most while speedrunning was how hard the back button is to reach( for me it is impossible to accidently hit it, i have to lose grip and stretch my hand to push it)
    the other thing that can annoy me alot is the first checkpoint, when i have to start using back instead of b, certainly when its to soon to tell if you have a decent start

    xzample what would you think if they couldn't reduce the timer in your speedrunning thing because of hardware limitations so it would be the same time as for pressing start? maybe a bit faster but still slower than just b like it is now

    Lol. I have had my days where I literally woke up, and spend the entire day on improving my time on one track. I've had more days where I spent 15 hours straight building, or testing in the editor. And yes, some of what I had to say was my speculation, just putting another perspective out there. Anyway, with well over 2000 hours of game time playing trials, riding, building, and competing, I think it's safe to say I have experienced enough to empathize with pretty much anyone's problems with the game, and then some.

    I think a speed running mode would be an excellent addition to the game. It doesn't have to even be as complicated as a settings menu option. It could be as as simple as hold a certain button at the beginning of a track to activate (with a big fat warning indicator ) and it can automatically disable when you exit the track/game. This would give speed runners convenience when grinding a track/tournament and not cause confusion for people who can't remember where the option is when they want to disable it. It would be really nice to also have some form of global settings that you could tinker with for the mode, but with or without it could be just one of those things you can't live without once you get used to it.
