It's been a while, but I found out something that turns the issue into something more "simple"
It turns out 1366x768 IS my maximum resolution, only because of my monitor !

    39.6 cm (15.6") HD BrightView LED-backlit Touchscreen (1366 x 768)

Specs from the HP Store Page I bought the laptop from

So that 1366x768 max.res is not proving the game only use the HD Intel 4000 as we thought

But It still looks like the Nvidia is not used for two reasons :
1/ Game drops at 52 FPS on lowest setting 1366x768, the Geforce GT740M should do much better than that
2/ Under Nvidia Control Panel , trialsfusion, exe still has the Auto-Select : Use integrated processor

All my other ressource-consuming games all get Auto-Select : Use High Graphic Performance processor,
    including Trials Evolution Gold !

Why does Gold has no issue detecting the best option being the Nvidia Card and Fusion doesnt manage to achieve that is the 100$ question
Answering that quesion will probably bring the answer about solving that issue.

It basically looks like whatever patch 1 fixed didn't apply to my computer
Why just me? That's another 100$ question lol

Tell me if you need more testing or have more ideas!
    and thx again!

PS : Just an Idea, I'm not a dev and have no idea if it's something easy to implement or not : what about an in-game or pre-game menu with option to choose which graphic card you want to use, directly from the application ? That would solve it all

That's good to hear. So no bug in resolution selection then...

Unfortunately this doesn't work with NVIDIA Optimus technology. Optimus itself chooses one GPU and hides the other from the program. When we ask DirectX the list of GPUs, we only see one GPU in the list (the one selected by Optimus). So the menu would only show one GPU.

We will add the name of the active GPU to the video settings screen in a future patch. This allows us to verify whether the game is using Intel GPU or GeForce on your computer.

That sound good. Thanks Seb, I'll be waiting for that option in the future patch or even better just a performance fix.

PS : I understand the original issue from this topic was solved, for most but still mine is not.
And that thread has been used for few pages now and I gave a lot of feedback to get things forward for everyone.
So it's a bit insulting from whoever moderator put this topic as [SOLVED].

You don't get rid of your paying customers like that sir.

    IT IS NOT SOLVED !!

The graphics corruption issue and the resolution issue were both solved. Please continue the performance issue discussion in the two other threads about this topic. There are other players with the same issue there. We try to find a way to fix this.
