This Barry bashing is getting a little tedious, if I'm honest.

....You put people in positions of power when they just barely understand the game, and I'm fed up with it. Barry being given his position of power, for what? For making a lot of posts in a short amount of time? I've hardly seen one kind word said about Barry, EVER. To be a moderator, I think the majority of people should respect you. And if you think this is me on a personal tangent or vendetta or something daft like that, think again - I'm far from the worst culprit here, I'm just the guy who actually SAYS what other people are thinking....

From a different perspective, the first time I saw anything of Barry was when I suddenly started seeing RedLynx forum posts on Ubi's forums with exactly the same amount of warning you guys had. I was so impressed by the amount of respect the community was showing him and how helpful he was being that I immediately nominated him as a potential moderator for this new (to me) group of sub-forums, before I knew that he already held that position and was just waiting on the restoration of his permissions and title. He's easily the best moderator candidate I've seen in over ten years of moderating these forums.
Perhaps it helps that I've no experience of the history of these forums...

im not bashing barry m8 . im just saying it how it is .i just like reminding people things from time to time .in case they forget . like a dedicated person would .

@Norfair: I respect Barry. I heard he was a bit elitist when it came to making tracks, but I've never had a problem with him. I've even talked to him on XbL, and he seemed like a laid back dude. It seems like he's done a great job being moderator recently, especially with the forum downgrade.

I may not be from those golden days, but I play the game an unhealthy amount, and I visit the forums daily. And I've looked at the old forum and saw how much Redlynx used to interact with you guys.


@Tireglitch: It was always disregarded as a "suspension issue" and thus ignored. Custom track creators were smarter/less lazy than Redlynx, and learned how to avoid them occurring on their tracks.

Not to mention ******** that you break through that actually ruined runs (Elevation/Warehouse). Those should have been fixed week 1 (which is around when I started complaining about it).
