Good joke, but no. As stated earlier, it is the first hours of an arduous process of transferring all data from the previous forums. It is still being worked on, so we please ask for your patience and bare with us during this transition.Originally Posted by murderbysound Go to original post

I may be missing something, but how do I get my RL account back?
I can safely say that noone in webchat is happy with the new forums, with everything ranging from its cold and clinical layout, to not having our old usernames. The info we got on this and how to handle getting new usernames has been really poor imo. All of a sudden I'm stuck with this username only cause I used it for the uplay client. Had I known that, I would have taken more than 5 seconds to pick a nickname.
And what on earth is up with these captchas for every post you make? They arent even easy to decipher, it's just so dumb. I certainly hope that gets removed once you have a number of posts to your username.
Yeah, this could have been handled better by Redlynx but that goes for pretty much everything they've done lately, sorry to say.
So let me get this straight: 2 years of visiting the forum and contributing most days, 1000s of posts, PMs, TF, Evo Database sticky thread -- I lost it all?
Game over for me fellars, I'm done.
Hey Morrillo, One of the reasons why the forums are still a little confusing is that we are still populating the database and back data on post count. Please be patient as this process may take some time. Thanks!Originally Posted by morrillo_ Go to original post
I appreciate your hard work, I really do, but the biggest problem is I missed the clearly marked post in capitals on the old forums explaining i) We would need a Uplay account to move over; ii) that we would lose our complete identity in the new forums (albeit temporary if I understand you correctly), iii) I would lose post counts, PMs, TF colour, sticky Evo Database thread etc. (again, is this temporary?), it simply came as a huge shock, and felt like a real kick in the gut after years of daily commitment to this community.
INFO would have been nice, we can all be patient IF we know what we are waiting for...
We did have a post on the forums and a blog post. We did say that it will take time and that it would be a large transition. However, that obviously doesn't help with your situation. I will personally look into each of your concerns and I will communicate them with our forum team. Many of the items you stated are being looked into and already worked on. All I can say is that over the next week, the community team and the Ubisoft IT team will be dedicated to getting these issues resolved.Originally Posted by morrillo_ Go to original post
