    Im done here

Two years I had the redlynx forum open in a tab in my browser. Not anymore. The ubisoft forum is trash. I'm not going to get used to it. I tried to use this forum for rocksmith 2014, and quit on it quickly. This place is a never ending hassle. It's funny actually. I actually *****ed to the forum manager there that the site was aweful and should be like the redlynx forum because it's so perfect.

    ....welcome to the ubisoft family...

Does anyone know how to change the headline of a topic? I tried to edit the headline of my track thread but the changes only applied to the OP and not as a whole in the User Created section. Thanks in advance.

I'm guessing that those posts are set in stone now, if they have the 're: ' field from the old forums, they maybe locked.

Any new posts that quote will have the new title though - if you have edited the OP.

Bummer! But okay, at least this doesn't apply to topics in general. Thanks for the quick response.

Can we really not change the title of an OP if we started the thread?
This is awful news for titles with updated dates etc., or track release threads.

In a way, but a lot of threads will need to be restarted for Fusion anyway, so in those cases it really wont make much difference.

Sorry Barry but it makes every difference (to me at least): track release threads were refreshed and easy to see when titles were changed "Person x - new track: Track Y" etc., this is bad news indeed, but another nail in the coffin for me with the new forums.

I didnt realise it also applied to new threads. Maybe its something that can be looked into once other things are sorted out, I don tknow.

Oh, i just realise i completely misunderstood Shade's response. Sounded as if only the existing threads that were transfered from the old forums are affected, but not new topics in general.. This is bad news indeed. Thought this kind of editing is a forum standard?!

Yeah this is a major bummer,
It seems changeable when using advanced posting/edit
but still reads as old title in the thread lists
