- Is there any benefit to your level (other than adding one to your fuel capacity, and refilling you)? Currently level 34... just grinding to upgrade now.
- Whats the highest anyone has gotten their fuel capacity?believe I saw MatiSports at 62)
- How high does the slot machine go?am almost to level 16)
- no benefit to level that i know of, other than bragging rights (?) and level up bonuses
- my fuel capacity is 95, on a redlynx test vid of frontier they had ~4500, no cap, to my knowledge
- no idea about slot machine, but i bet dumptruck is the highest (prob over 20 by now)
Hello xitooner,
Glad you asked about what the player level is for because it's actually WAY COOLER than we are currently showing off!
Here is the insider scoop on players level...
1. The higher your player level the more coins you earn per checkpoint you pass on a track.
2. The higher your player level the more impact you have on the reward wheel when growing a section.
3. The higher your player level the more XP you earn every time you race.
We're hoping to expose these features more and maybe even let you choose the way you improve when you level up, but these sorts of things are still in an early planning phase.
Regarding Slot Machine, everyone has quite a ways to go before reaching max level. When you start to get up there in levels though the prizes become pretty huge, but the task challenges also become REALLY tough!
wow thats actually pretty cool!
id like it if the challenges got tougher, 99% of them have been a walk in the park so far, with the exception of one or two that have been to get silver with ~15 seconds of air time (had to sit around bouncing on a bridge for a while, then had to demolish the last section of track to get that) i have yet to get one I cannot complete
id love to see platinum challenges start coming up, or better yet, give us the option to pick easy/medium/hard challenges with proportional rewards (i guess kinda like the superx/trials/HC trials modes in evo multi) i think this system has the potential to be more beneficial for all players, as less skilled players who may have played a ton of slot machine would be less likely to run into challenges they cant complete, and more skilled players have the ability to complete more challenging content without copious amounts of grind first
I'm glad to hear there are benefits for leveling up
I have only struggled with 1 challenge so far, think it was one that needed a certain number of front flips using the Bronco. I would always come up 1 short until I lucked it.
Heh they do get tougher; and the fact they pick your bike for you forces you to upgrade them all. Otherwise, you are stuck with no more slot for the entire day (which is bad news when you are trying to gain money for upgrades).Originally Posted by Chaeron
I had one the other day where I had to do 9+ front-flips and still make gold. . .on a relatively flat track. And I didnt think I could ever get a hard one that involved air time, but I got one that needed SO MUCH air-time, plus still making gold..... it really was hard. Each of them took about 30 minutes. . . on one I just gave up and boosted my stats.
Thanks SwanMan! Glad to hear level impacts the reward wheel. I wish it impacted the coins/checkpoint more.....once the quests are done money is the scarcest resource, and I think it could still be balanced better. Right now, simple racing versus reward wheel. . .its simply no contest, because racing itself gives soooo little coin, unless you are using coin-boosters + rarified. The end-game is simply too dependent on the reward wheel for progress. . . .
Looks like the game maxes out again at 40. Maybe it will change with new update. But I wonder is the Xp I'm earning being lost or will it add up when I update?
1. The higher your player level the more coins you earn per checkpoint you pass on a track.
I am not sure this is correct, its not working for me atleast.
Have tried Pipe Basin and Tank Tops and they give the same amount of coins since I was level 36 or something.
