They work on both.

Not too impressed with the idea of buying tokens to get content though. Imagine having to pay to download TC tracks.......given the percentage of good ones, you would throw away a LOT of meny! :S

No, you're misunderstanding.

The tokens are for buying content packs (aka. DLC), XP boost and spark time. But before I go into details, you don't EVER need to buy tokens to for anything, that includes DLC! All the same things be bought using in-game credits. Every creation is free to play, and cannot be sold.

Now the details: If someone releases a creation and it has props (objects) which you don't own, and you play that creation, it will use your spark time, which is 30 minutes per day, and when spark time is all used up that day, you can't play further except you buy more spark power with tokens/credits, or you go ahead and buy the content pack(s) you need to play the creations.

So #1 rule in Project Spark: Buy all DLC.

Wrong, I cant even "play" the game without tokens or credits. I have neither. I'm not paying to try a beta out.
