It's been approved in a stream of RL's that the donkey will be in Fusion but it won't be included at launch. Maybe it will be a DLC bike? Maybe we will obtain it the same way we did in Evo? But for sure it will be in Fusion.

I don't think they actually said "You will definitely have the Donkey in Fusion"

All they said was don't expect to see it at launch. If I had to guess I would say they are planning something like they did in Evolution but I think they are just trying to keep it a secret. I can't imagine they would just toss the donkey but you never know...
