    Banished (PC Game)

    Hi guys!
If you haven't heard of a PC game available on Steam named Banished, then I personally highly recommend you give it a try.
    What is Banished?
It is a City simulation game set in the medieval era. You control a group exiled from their former city and so you must aid them to become a thriving and successful city... or a miserable and often dead-off-starving failure.
You start off the game with a limited number of houses that will contain your little minions, a stock pile to hold your resources that you collect and also a barn to hold items such as food. These facilities provided to you is the bare minimum of what the game has to offer and so consequently trying to survive off this alone is your own (or their) suicide.
The game play very much focuses on the labourers (People who are able to work for you) and what job you allocate them and how many will work within that job. It is important to take care whenever you start to ensure you have the correct amount of buildings able to supply the bare minimum to help your village to survive and build up from there...not too fast however because your population will out-grow the reproduction of your valuable food resources, which is most likely going to be your little civilisation's demise.
What I find funny about such a game is that it is so merciless when you play and once all of your people have been wiped out, it wont bother to tell you. It is the simple fact of quitting the game, deleting your save and starting again.
For anyone who is fans of Minecraft, Sim City and games that follow the survival genre will feel right at home
Please try this, it will be upsetting if you don't

    Re: Banished (PC Game)

Had my eye on this game for a while.

You say you start with houses though, I thought you start nothing but a hand cart full of supplies.

Either way, I might get this when it goes on sale.
