Re: New to PS4, need Fusion friends !

im still on the fence here, undecided, but im pretty sure ill get one of them for this launch, good time to upgrade i thk.

im leaning towards ps4 too, but id really like to try both controllers first. has anybody here tested both? is the 'travel' on ps4 analog stick more close to xbox this time? other factors?

I'll throw my psn name up there. If you want to friend me then go for it. I might randomly delete you in the future randomly so don't take offense. II_GTA_FREEK_II

I have both consoles. I have had a couple of 360 players hold both and end up preferring the DS4. So the two controllers areEXTREMELY close this time. I would recommend going to a shop and saying you're thinking about nextgen, controllers bother you adn you would like to hold both in your hand before choosing. See if they'll let you have a feel of them

Looks like I'll need to miss out on the 360, which is a shame since I'll miss out on lots of tracks.

Hopefully some new builders will rise on PS4.

My experience with the ds4 is that it is very precise, has almost no deadzone and it's small enough for rapid movement and flicks. That's the positives.
The one gripe I have is that the surface gets slippery really fast. My thumb tends to slip off in first-person shooters but it's not a big problem. I'm a bit worried it might be a problem with trials though. Also the battery life is a bit short. Otherwise I have no issues at all.

But it does come with a charging cable. The XB1 controller EATS batteries and a battery pack and charging cable is £20.....unless you use rechargeable batteries.

Yeah it's not a huge problem by any means. Especially since you can charge the controller in standby-mode. Just get a bit more notifications about the battery-life than with the ds3.

Both PS4 and XB1 controllers are pretty great so up to you on which feels more comfortable and which exclusives you like most.
