im still on the fence here, undecided, but im pretty sure ill get one of them for this launch, good time to upgrade i thk.
im leaning towards ps4 too, but id really like to try both controllers first. has anybody here tested both? is the 'travel' on ps4 analog stick more close to xbox this time? other factors?
I have both consoles. I have had a couple of 360 players hold both and end up preferring the DS4. So the two controllers areEXTREMELY close this time. I would recommend going to a shop and saying you're thinking about nextgen, controllers bother you adn you would like to hold both in your hand before choosing. My experience with the ds4 is that it is very precise, has almost no deadzone and it's small enough for rapid movement and flicks. That's the positives.
The one gripe I have is that the surface gets slippery really fast. My thumb tends to slip off in first-person shooters but it's not a big problem. I'm a bit worried it might be a problem with trials though. Also the battery life is a bit short. Otherwise I have no issues at all.
