    Download vs Retail

If I'm not mistaken, there will be a Deluxe Edition with additional content and it will only be available as a retail version. If so, I hate it!

Trials was and still is a download game for me because it is a game that can be played for just a few minutes. With that in mind I don't want to get up and change the disc for only 5 minutes until a friend comes online to play something else.

I want it as a download title and I want all the content. Please do something about it, RedLynx!!

From what I've seen so far, its two pieces of "decoration". One bike skin and a rider outfit I believe. So I wouldnt get too bent out of shape. The download release date appears to be 2 days before the retail date. I'll take 2 extra days and two less items and have it on my hdd please!

They wanted to push downloads, yet the price and content was always worse than the retail version. Now they seem to evened out the price but we still get disadvantages with downloads. It doesn't make sense to me.

It seems like the current retail prices in the UK mean it would be cheaper to download AND two days earlier. So I'm not sure I agree with that sentiment tbh.

Yup. Download the game, then once the first dlc is released, download the season pass

    In that case, right.
Earlier is not importnat to me though. Price is, it's great that it's cheaper, but I want to be able to get the same content, even if it's more expensive again.

Oh. I thought when you got the retail version (Deluxe edition), I thought it was a download to UPLAY? Instead of the actually game from the CD?

    Please Answer!

I think the deluxe version is a physical disc from retail stores....
It annoys me that the physical copy is out 2 days later however, DO THEY KNOW WHAT WILL BE MISSED?
    - First day leader boards having the slightest chance of being within the top hundred on the first day.
    - First day with the track editor trying be be amongst the first to release a custom

and most importantly, the fact that two days of trials is missed in the first place.

Yes, what you said is very true. The reason I'm thinking this is because I like the fact with Evo Gold its in UPLAY so you can play it where ever you like without carrying a disk around. So I'm hoping that on the physical disc there will also be a download to UPLAY?
