Edited the video down to showcase the gameplay and removed the voice over.

I'm confused. Why is the only gameplay video of Fusion of Pewdiepie of all people, playing badly and being incredibly annoying? I couldn't even watch vladiiii's video because his playing was just so terrible. Did RedLynx really think this was the best way to showcase their new flagship Trials title?
I dont think its really that difficult to understand why pewdiepie was chosen. No offense to any of the good trials players around that are on youtube, but pewdiepie has 23 million subscribers and 3rd highest on youtube, none of the trials players come remotely close to that... simple advertising.
The question I ask myself is why now? Unless the game is coming out in a month (is it?), most of his viewers will have forgotten about that video by the time the game comes out.
Also I think Rooster Teeth would have been a better choice even if they have a lower number of subscribers (7mil not enough?), they're trials players/fans and would represent the game much better than this guy. But these are just my opinions.
I agree with this. Hell, if RedLynx is going to let some guy on YouTube show the game off for the first time, why not simultaneously release a gameplay trailer so instead of watching someone crash constantly, we can see how the game looks when being played properly?Originally Posted by psycad
I also agree that while PewDiePie has a ton of subscribers and it's great publicity for the game, I think most people watch his videos for his antics, not to get a comprehensive look at an upcoming game that they're looking to purchase.
