Hi everyone.
A friend of mine has created a track, complexity is around 70%. For some reason he's being told the file size is too large and it will only save on occasion.
He has used cloud and hard drive whilst making the track.
It is a complex track with many triggers etc but I've never heard of a tracks file size being too large, even when I've maxed out the bar.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thank you for your time.
Track Size and Track Complexity are two different things. AFAIK, He'll need to cut down on what is in the track.

If possible, could anyone elaborate on what needs to be cut down please, I.e object density, triggers and effects etc.
I don't expect Shifty to answer as he has more than enough on his plate.

I'd figure anything goes, really. Anything the game has to render or somehow calculate. Try first removing objects that are not really all that visible to begin with ( if at all ), cleaning up the code and triggers to a more compact form where possible and so on.
I'm not an expert on this so someone more familiar with the editor should really post here.

The guys from the level design team will know for sure, but what I understand is that file-size is how many items are in a track whereas complexity is effects, triggers, and other coding tiles.
Hey spinalmy advice is that any objects he has in the background that don't touch the line, he should put to visible only and untick the box for physical object, I believe that saves a lot of file space.
Thank you mate, will pass that onOriginally Posted by NSPIVeNoMz![]()
Objects outside the physics bubble do this automatically I think so no need to go through all of those. But yeah, for the ones that are within the bubble, for sure!Originally Posted by NSPIVeNoMz
