license tests are only included in gold cuz we scrap our save files and start from scratch, and are mandatory to unlock the better bikes. i dont see the point of including them in xbox unless you have a new save file as well, because even if you include the license tests, you still have full bike access regardless, and the license tests dont provide anything to the run/you can still do ridge tracer on scorp etc
see gold run here
the old AGDQ run by pootrain was just run all tracks on your bike of choice, similar to getwhatyougive outlined in his last post. i think it's up to you guys whether or not you want to categorize by medal/include tourneys/w/e
Oh ok, I thought that it was starting a new game from scratch every time you do one of these runs. If not, then of course you don't need to do the license tests.Originally Posted by Chaeron
This ^. Making it platinum only isn't a good idea IMO Cam. People would get stuck on extremes and it would blow out the time and make people not want to run it I think. I know I wouldn't because I've only 0 faulted WOTN once in my 11 days playing time. Maybe we could have 2 leader boards 1 for normal completion and 1 for a Platinum run. Least faults wins then time after the fact. So a 0 fault 1 hour run would beat a 1 fault 55 min run just like the in game leader boards. Ya?Originally Posted by Chaeron
Ah true, sounds good, still, a lot of people would lie to make their run seem better.
I think the best way is to give some screenshots of your spreadsheet. Then someone will verify your personal bests, if the times on the spreadsheet aren't better than your actual PBs then it's legit. Imo it seems to be a good way, although there would be aholes who will take their actual PBs and make the sum of all of them, without doing the speedrun.
Btw maybe I'll try the ultimate 100% completion speedrun (All 40 squirrels + All 580 medals)... It's the toughest challenge I think![]()

If more of the top riders started doing this then there would be way to many multi's flying around track on leaderboards.

Proof wise, I think the only thing we can allow is a video of the full run uninterrupted. I understand that's hard for some though. I'm looking into buying a capture card for that reason. You could still submit a time if you don't have proof but it would go on the boards as unverified and wouldn't count until a better run is achieved and taped.
So:
- Start timer at commencement of racing on Ridge Tracer and stop at crossing the finish line on Inferno 3.
- License tests not included.
- Skill games not included.
- All tracks must be done in order.
- All tracks completed in one sitting.
- Only VERIFIED times added to the leader board. However people can still submit unverified runs, but they won't be added to the main board.
I think these are some good rules to get this started. I don't want this to turn into some 100% official/SDA approved/technicality/pissing contest thing because after all it is for a bit fun and spirited competition.
Anything else we should include/discuss?
What do you mean Striide? As in multi accounts? They can just do it on their normal account. It's not meant to be from a new save like on PC.Originally Posted by iStriide
I'll probably give this a try soon, and I'll probably livestream it as well.Originally Posted by xGetWhatYouGive
