Trials got accepted to feature SGDQ2014 (150,000+ viewers)

So some of you guys will be familiar with Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ),
They are hosters of a gaming marathon that happens twice a year In the winter AGDQ and the summer SGDQ,
They have huge gaming marathons every year to raise funds for the Prevent Cancer Foundation
Last winter they raised 1million$ at the AGDQ and the turn out is expected to be bigger once again

Over the past month the any% Speedrun has got quite popular on the PC, a big group of us have started to do it and have got good fun from doing it

A couple of weeks back I submitted trials Evolution Gold, and pitched it to them in a video submission:
    Video:
    Spoiler:  Show

Since then the hosters have gone through the huge list of game submissions twice and had two cuts 1st and 2nd cuts where lots and lots of games were denied
Trials Gold was included in the shortlist and not cut:

But there is a problem for me
When I submitted the video, I didn't know you have to pay your own transport to get there,
I didn't look into it a much as I should have,
Offcourse I live In the UK and it's hosted in America
On one side of the coin I feel really happy that they accepted Trials to be shown to the world,
But am sad that I know I wont be able to afford a ticket to the states

I haven't yet told them I may not be able to make it,
    I have two options atm
    1)
Iv'e heard in the past Speedrunners of other games have sometimes had to raise funds from there streams etc to pay for the transport,
I will definitely be trying to do this if I can, I do have the current largest trials stream, But I'm pretty sure I will drop short of the mark

    2) Ask someone from America who may be interested in taking my place

    3) Option 3 offcourse would to be letting them know I can't make it

Hypothetically If I am able to raise the funds for the transport,
I would ask for 3 volunteers to make the trip and sit on the couch while I run the game to commentate

So yeah Awesome and Sad news today,
Thought I'd make this thread for discussion

Last time on twitch 2014 winter AGDQ they had over 150,000+ people watching minimum And at one point had over 200,000 people watching
I think it would be such a shame if we couldn't show trials to an audience as large as this!

This is an amazing opportunity to get Trials know to a VERY wide audience. I hope you'll be able to make the trip.
Maybe this is a job for the RL PR department, eh?

I'd very much volunteer for the trip as this would be an amazing event but I am sadly in the same position as you. That trip would cost too much :/

I would love to go, I'm going to try the best I can to make it a reality
Not only is it for a good cause, Just imagine the attention Trials as a whole could get from an audience as large as this
