    Trials Fusion - Yeti 3.0!

    I was thinking about making a multi-level (vertical) version Yeti when T:F comes out. If anyone has played Yeti you'll notice it was barren, that's because It was only to show a friend.

    Maybe I'll call it Yeti ONE to be strange like Microsoft.

    I'm sorry but please don't. When that track was made it just resulted in a bunch of copies all over track central, kind of like the down the stairs and don't move tracks. Is rather not have a repeat of this.

    Generally fun things are going to be copied. It's a fact of life, I mean look at China. Look at Flappy Birds (God I hate that game).

    I wouldn't put Yeti in the same category of falling down stairs or such things, it actually takes skill and some patience to learn the track to complete it.

    Definitely make a new one when Fusion comes out. Some of the more hardcore trialists here would probably say that Yeti is terrible, but i think
    its a good remainder that a simple idea can turn out to be fun, addicting and succesful. like flappy bird

    In it's current state, I hate how yeti came out. It was terrible aesthetically and which game mode it was put under. Being a first day ordeal I had no idea it would post to the open world. I attempted a Yeti 2.0 but I felt that the additional elements took away from the skill game feel. I originally meant it to be a skill game but I posted it for my friend.

    I'm thinking of doing a vertical yeti in which you can take multiple paths or work your way up a tower if the next editor allows it.

    It definitely won't be in the same league as the Original Yeti.

    It was less of a track and more of a skill game imo. And everyone's entitled to make whatever they want, without requiring my permission or anyone elses. Regardless of wether I liked yeti or not, its your choice wether to make one for Fusion. We can only offer our opinions on what we thought of it.

    What was awful about it? If you say visually it was bad, then I say please read the rest of this thread. It was unfinished when I posted it.

    However considering it was #1 with 250,000+ downloads and never below a 5 star I'd say it was far from awful. Thems the facts.

    I'm more proud over how many laughs were had when playing it, that's how you know something is good. You then build the art around it to make it aesthetically pleasing.

    Does it compare with the technical aspects of some of the more advanced levels with their moving platforms and crazy art styles? Not by a long shot but I've played enough of those levels to say there are very few that actually make you interact with the environment to win rather than them just shifting around you.

    Can I make a level like those? Yes, absolutely but I'd rather not spend the time on non-gameplay aspects. In Yeti 2.0 I added a few visual objects to enhance the experience and it definitely made it look better but had no affect on the map what-so-ever.

    Mind me in trials I think it's more important to laugh then to get pissed off to the bring of breaking a controller on a ninja level.

    I played both Yeti's for hours and broke many things within reach.
