L2titan, brah. Titans take more strategy to pilot than being a pilot does. You are now a 3 story robot that everyone is aiming for. Dashing and vortex shields/smoke are your only real defense, as well as remembering to have some form of cover nearby in case your shields drop.
Jumping into the mix and fist fighting another Titan one on one isn't as common as you think. If you are near an enemy spawn, then you'll also have a few pilots locking on or firing sidewinders at you as well as the enemy Titan. You won't survive under that onslaught for very long.
Take some easy shield damage, dash away to lure the Titan away from his buddies, do a quick vortex bump (then he'll use his) pummel him with your weapons, and if he tries flinging them back, your shield should already be recharged. Throw it in his face, let loose a salvo and finish it up with a dash-in punch. He'll likely be done for.
An experience mech pilot can easily take on 2 or 3 mech noobs. If you play as a Titan like you do in CoD, you're gonna have a bad day.
