As the mouse is wireless, I assume, you've changed the batteries for known good ones? And also does the mouse have an unobstructed path (radio signal wise) to the receiver?

Reason I ask the last question is I use a trackball and for the one at work I have to raise the receiver so the trackball can see it properly. If I don't I get hity missy clicks etc.

nah thats not an issue. the receiver is in plain sight and about 20 cm away from the mouse at all times. nothings bothering it. like i said that double click issue when hitting Send/Ok/Submit after having the focus inside an input box (or whatever you call them) is the only problem im having, apart from that the mouse works exactly like it should.

i just checked my poker client just now to see if the problem was still there, and its not anymore. im sure it will randomly reappear later on though. and when it does, i will try that latest suggestions of yours Useless, thanks.

Just for kicks, you could uninstall the driver software then reinstall it. Just to be 100% sure..

How old is the mouse? months/years?
